Any tricks to search by special characters like square braces [ ] ?
Searching a channel by special characters like [ ] , { } , ( ) , = , + isn't possible at the moment.Is there an escape character of some sorts as in regex's \ (backslash), that will allow the special characters to be used in a search function?

Media Thumbnails not loading
I am in a chat with several thousand media files in the contents, when i first joined all the thumbnails would load and i could select any media but recently it is so that only the most recent media thumbnails load and the rest of them are in a perpetual loading state with one odd thumbnail being available in the sea of black loading thumbnails….i can still access the ‘black’ media by scrolling left or right from the available ones but is there any fix for this? I have already reinstalled app and cleared all available caches

Need a tip for importing phone contacts (Telegram API, telethon)
Hi.I have a TG chat that needs cleaning. There is a subscription system with data that can be exported via xlsx/csv files. However most of these contacts are phone numbers rather than telegram usernames, so I tried using ImportContactsRequest for this.However I noticed that all of these phone numbers (like 1400 of them) are not yielding results, they only say "this contact doesn't exist on Telegram yet".I'm adding these contacts so I can get their peer_id and remove them from the chat.Could it be that Telegram is blocking me from adding new contacts? :/

PHONE NUMBER BANNED
My phone number has been banned for almost three weeks, sent many emails to recover@telegram.org and no response in 3 weeks. DMs to @smstelegram on twitter and no response except automated response by a bot.Does anyone know where would telegram support help or atleast tell me the reason for banning?

Can group owner, channel owner see people IP address?
If I post comment on channel/group, Can the owner of that channel/group see my address?If they can't see it, how do they ban people from their channel/group?

telegram won't let me view a channel
the channel is not private and im not on their ban list. the channel owner has never blocked or banned me before. they have more than 200 members so they cant add me manually. they also have never had this issue before. does anyone know how to solve this or is it a bug or...?

Admin cannot delete messages in group
Hi, I'm an admin for a telegram channel and its chat group. Im on Android. When trying to delete a message, I'll long press to bring up the options and the "delete" option isn't there. This doesn't happen for the other admin. Is there a reason for this? Some type of setting? Thanks for any info.

What is the reason behind the fact that bots cannot create channels/groups?
I'd like to create a Telegram app where a bot generates a group (most likely to be temporary). Is there a reason why it's not possible? (I know Slack is not the same, but bots can generate a channel with the right permissions).Currently I find it quite complicated to use MTProto to let a user to login, save its session and then generate the group. It's very unlikely that users will go thorough this painful process.

How to stop group members from messaging me on Telegram?
I keep getting ads messages from strangers who share the same groups with me so frequently. Blocking after the first receipt is of no big use in this scenario, as these disposable accounts were intended to send exactly once, and then get deleted by telegram official. As long as mass recipients have received their ads messages, mission accomplished, (I guess) they don't mind this account getting deleted afterwards, they have a bunch of new disposable accounts to mass send another wave of ads messages.Keeping receiving these ads messages per few days are really annoying, is there a way to resolve?ads messages per few daysIf there is no good way to resolve directly, is there a way to know which group I share with these ads accounts, so I can quit these groups? I know how to check which groups I share with an account, but the thing is: whenever I click into their profile to see the list of our shared groups, no groups shown. I guess these advertisers use the strategy of mass sending first and then immediately exiting the shared group, which are done automatically by scripts or whatever, so very fast, which leads to whenever I click into their profile to check the shared groups, they have already exited that group.​There's no shared groups list shown
