Accounts are irretrievably lost?
Hello everyone. I had a fiasco today.I have updated the Monterey OS on my macbook to the latest version, after that i launched the telegram app, then a window appeared with some kind of error and a "Relaunch" button. I pressed the "Relaunch" button and after that telegram reset my sessions and offered to login again.But there is one big problem: access to the phone numbers on which my two accounts were registered has been lost more than 2 years ago and there are no open sessions on other devices. I contacted Telegram support but they don't answer me. I could prove that these are really my accounts, but the support does not respond to me. Do i understand correctly that my accounts are irretrievably lost?

TG pulls old deleted contacts
Synchronization is on and from time to time I get notifications "X joined Telegram". Mostly temporary numbers I saved and then deleted at some point in the past (short term clients, deliveries etc). Is that network provider's contact database or Telegram's? Is it possible to clean it up and get rid of those irrelevant contacts popping up?

Does "Delete this Chat" when blocking upon first contact delete for both?

Can’t log in
Hi, I’m trying to log in from a computer on telegram desktop app and want to access via sms but I can’t and it says to copy the code from my other device but I can’t access my other device because my iPhone 6 got old and can’t open Telegram. What can I do to log in with an sms?

Does telegram send a messege to all my contacts when i first join?
I want to join telegram first time, i didnt install the app yet. I want to know when i first join the telegram does it send a messge or sms to all my contact that i joined telegram? Like viber do this and it's annoying cause some times when they send this sms there are contacts i saved im the phone from shops/and business and they even get a text saying join me on viber etc. its cringe and annoying cause not all my contacts are i personally known. Does Telegram automatically download and save media?
I’ve started using Telegram as an alternative to WhatsApp and I’ve noticed media that’s been sent into chats is “saved” despite it not showing in my photos on my iPhone.I do not wish to have them saved to my storage however it tells me they’re being downloaded, even using my mobile data to download them.What’s the deal? Someone joined my friends GC and posted illegal content. How do we go about handling it?
To keep it brief, me and my school friends have a group chat where we send memes and TikTok’s to each other and someone obtained a link to join and began posting things we all think to be illegal. After kicking them we’re all unsure how to move forward. They’re now showing as a deleted user. We have all cleared cache and nobody has any saved media from the group in general but we’re unsure how to report this person properly and remain safe. Any help and tips would be great thank you

About my old number...
I Recently changed my phone number to a new one but I forgot to delete telegram.Now I can't receive SMS and I dont have any device connected to the old number which was deleted.I called them and they said the old number was deleted but it'll be available in a few months again for sale.​If someone buy my number in the later future will they be able to connect to my account?The auto delete account was set to 6 months

Can I search a word on the scheduled messages page?
I am in a sales group page and place many scheduled messages for my team on the day of the message to be pushed. I don't like scrolling to find an email or client name forever. Will a search bar ever be activated for the scheduled messages?

Issue with syncing contacts
Hi, so I've had my account for a while now with no issue. I've always denied the sync contacts option and it's also turned off in my iphone settings for telegram. But last week I noticed someone in my contacts pop up within the contacts section of the app even though I have it turned off? If I can see them in my contacts of telegram, can they see my account?On the privacy settings in the telegram app, under phone number, I have who can see my phone number set to nobody. But below that, where it says who can find me by my number, I can only select everybody or my contacts, there is no 'Nobody' option? Does this mean even though I refuse to sync contacts, telegram will still allow people to sync their contacts to me? How can I prevent this or at the very least stop people on my contacts seeing my telegram account, even just the name and profile

[Q] Telegram on IOS is not changing accent colors
Pretty much the title. I am messing around with themes and found the green ticks indicating if a message has been sent/read stay green regardless of my theme, UNLESS its night mode is on (but I don't use it). It is sorta bugging me since it means my colors aren't uniformed across the app. I assumed this could be fixed with the accent color options in the theme settings, but it does literally nothing regardless if night mode is on or not, which is confusing me.I recall fixing it months ago but don't remember what I did. Any help would be appreciated!

Can't send pictures?
Hello everyone,Like the title says, I can't send any pictures using Telegram. I changed my phone in October last year and it was working just fine for a month or so and then it stopped working, no idea why since I didn't change anything.I've rebooted my phone, cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, nothing works.I sent a message to the Telegram team back in November and never got any replies.The only workaround I've found is to go to "File > Gallery" and then select my picture. It'll send as an attached file.I'm on Android with an Asus Zenfone 8. I've had multiple android updates since November but it never fixed the issue.I would be forever grateful if someone could help!Thank you!
