Video compression and smaller size even when I choose to upload it as file
Hello,I have uploaded a movie mp4 file on a private channel. The original file is around 600mb. After the upload, the uploaded file is around 180mb. I did upload it as a file and also tried to upload through drag n drop and chose no compression. Same results. This is happening on the desktop client, didn't try it on my phone.Is this compression the default for uploading videos?Thank you in advance for your answers.

Recovering deleted telegram chat
I have accidentally deleted a telegram chat for my correspondence, said correspondence needs that chat restored. It contains over 5 years worth of information/data.I have tried all conventional means including exporting telegram data, but the deleted items do not restore. I cleared my cookies and it logged me out of telegram. I can't get back in with my number? There's no other way to retrieve my account? I am super confused and don't know what to do.

Random gifs appear in Telegram Documents folder on Android
Hello, I have a very weird issue that I can't fix. Every couple days random media like gifs appear in my telegram documents folder.I only have two contacts on there, no one ever sent me gifs, it's only text based communication. Also I have automatic media download turned off completely.This is how it looks like. I have to delete them every couple of days, otherwise they start piling up.It's a new Android phone, Im sure I don't have any bloat installed, just the basics like Reddit and Twitter etc. Nothing weird or fancy.Googling reveals .. nothing at all. I only could find one other thread about this here in the sub, and there was no answer. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Question about profile pic privacy
I have the privacy of my profile pic set so that only my contacts can see it. Does this mean that people that share groups with me, but which are not my contacts, cannot see my profile pic?If this is the case, why do I still get the option of adding entire groups as exceptions of people that can never see my profile pic?

I use Telegram mainly for back ups for a lot of different medias, notes, and few important chats. Is there a way where I can get multiple saved messages where I am the only one to see it?I've been trying to get blocked by some people I chat with and use that thread as saved messages, I know I know.. So is there a way where I don't do this anymore? lol
