My friends and I roleplay on Discord, but the 2,500 character limit is really irking me, and I'm thinking about moving to Telegram.Thing is, the proxy bots which put your posts in character, are part of what makes the experience immersive.Does anyone know of a bot that acts like Tupperbox, but for Discord?My own research yielded nothing...

How do you find new channels covering specific subjects if you don't already know their name?
I only found a political channel I liked because a YouTuber who owned that channel mentioned it on his YouTube videos. How do you find channels you might like if you don't already know their name? You can do a search but it doesn't search posts by people you're not already subscribed to, it only searches for channel names.

Fixed: full screen display of image showing black on Windows client
The problem was that every time I clicked on an image to see it full screen, it would become a black screen. I couldn't find much information on this except for one post where someone said re-installing or updating of Telegram fixed the problem. I didn't want to do this so I tried a few things.Found a solution that worked for me. Under Settings > Advanced > ANGLE graphics backend it was set to Auto. I set it to Disabled and restarted my Telegram client. Tried it this time and I could now see the image full screen! Then went back into Settings and set it back to Auto and restarted again. There was no problem on viewing images after that.

Can telegram forcefully take my username?
I just checked that you can ask telegram to give you a username even if it belongs to someone if yoh have same username on social media.If i have such a username, can telegram just take it from me forcefully? How is that fair that we don't truly own our username. I don't understand this weird policy of telegram.

I can't play my videos in telegram after i downloaded it and store it in my sd card
After an update, i somehow cant play my downloaded videos that is stored on the sd card, it say "the location content://org.telegram...... cannot be played"

Is it possible to share voice messages and video messages outside of the app?
I have some very private and sensitive voice and video messages and I wonder if I could accidentally share these said messages to other apps like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or Line. Is it possible? I'm using telegram X. Thank you.

I don't know if any bot is able to do it but I'm looking for a bot that sends a message to a user of your choice, even if it's a premade message like "I love you" or "congratulations" or "I appreciate you" or anything like that.

A peculiar situation
So I made a Telegram yesterday as I have never used it before. I realised there was someone on there I didn't want to have access to me so I blocked them before they even realised I was even on there (I think). Today I go back on there and realised that they have blocked me back because it says on their status that they were last seen "a long time ago" and they have no profile picture even though there were a few there yesterday. How is this possible? Do people still see that you're using telegram even if you've blocked them? This doesn't happen with WhatsApp I believe.Thanks for the help.

Need some assistance w/ Unban, please...
Hey guys, I'm needing some guidance, please.So I was part of a channel and ended up messaging a little too fast. Rose banned me. Fortunately, I had also been talking with one of the moderators in DM, so I messaged him asking him to unban me. He said sure and asked what my sn was.This is where the trouble started. I'm new to TG and hadn't set a Screen Name yet, so I did. I then told him what my newly created sc was (@Myname) and he said he would unban me.A few minutes later he showed me a screenshot from the channel where he had typed "/unban @ Myname" (without that space). The reply from Rose was "Could not find a user by this name; are you sure I've seen them before?"It's been over 24 hours since this happened and I still cannot join the channel. Every time I click on the link, it tells me "Sorry, this group is private." I ended up having to create another TG account on my kid's phone to access the channel again, but I want to be back on my phone with my original account. I am still in contact with the moderators on that channel, but they don't know how to fix it either.Any help is greatly appreciated!

Telegram notified everyone that I joined, that is an awful feature
I asked a family member for their phone number to test a bot and now everyone is sending me messages assuming I'm them. That's a very bad thing, and I can't disable that now, it has already been sent. Extremely shitty

Can anyone tell me how to stop getting added to spam groups its getting extremely annoying!!!
Hey all, I'm about to loose my sh*t with telegram, why on earth am I getting added to these groups its getting beyond a joke now, this app is the only way I'm able to talk to my father and video call him as well as send him videos etc. and all of a sudden 2 weeks ago I started getting added to random groups for no reason, for the first 3 days I just left it but after having been added to around 200 groups and getting spammed with messages, after looking into it loads of other people have been having this problem, apparently all there problems where solved by changing some settings, so after changing my settings so no one can add me even people in my contacts as well as adding a username, I WAS STILL BEING ADDED, so I researched this again and apparently people in your contacts could be adding you to the groups, after deleting all the contacts that show up on telegram INCLUDING MY FATHERS, I went to sleep to be woken up at 3 Fuc*ing am to be messaged and spammed called, after this is was extremely upset, so was thinking is it worth deleting my account and making a new one to see if that changed anything, after looking into it YOU CANT DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT WHICH IS CRAZY, Since all of this has happened and the only reason why Im using Telegram is to message my father, My last resort is to put it in the reddit group hoping someone can help me because this is getting beyond a joke now.PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!
