Telegram era has ended for me
This is my experience and my opinion, but telegram is no longer useful for me or anyone in my circleI have used telegram from a long time, like around 2014, but i realised just now that I haven't really used it at all in the past year or two.Most of the times I open the app, every group/channel seem dead, most of my friends or companions have switched to discord for group messaging and signal /whatsapp for private messaging,I also joined a bunch of groups/ channels which now contain buncha ads for other channels/crypto, many channels are now deleted or are locked because they contain nsfw stuff which is now not accessible for some reason.Only messages I get are from ad bots advertising crypto, I also get added to random groups which are usually ads/spam out of nowhere.I don't see much reason to use it anymore

Delete chat history in a specific range of dates
Is there a way to delete chat messages (both for sender and receiver) that are dated between a specific range of dates, e.g. delete all messages older than 10 days or between 2021/08/01 and today? Is it possible to do that from desktop or mobile app or there are other ways (e.g. via API)?Thanks

Importing from WhatsApp keeps failing
I’m trying to import my WhatsApp group chat to telegram and it’s keeps stopping half way through with no error. It’s a 3gb chat that’s been going for years with the boys. I can export the chat fine to a zip file then I select the group in telegram that I want it to import to. Gets to around 46% and just stops. IOS 15.1. Any tips? Fuck Zuck.

Question around last seen
Hi everyone. Firstly, apologies if this has been covered extensively here, and delete it not appropriate. I was hoping someone might be able to help me with something I’m a bit confused around. I tried to do some research around this of my own but almost every Quora or random forum each had a slightly different answer. In a nutshell, my situation is I’m trying to work out if I’m either blocked or potentially just being left on read, or if my messages are even going through. I chatted on and off with someone I met online for about a year. Beginning of this year we kinda drifted apart and the messages slowed down, until about April where the conversation just more or less mutually ended. I deleted Telegram following this since it was their idea to use it in the first place and I have most social groups and chats on discord, but I reinstalled it start of October and thought I’d fire off a message for old time sake. I could still see their profile pic and all our chat history is still there, and it said “last seen recently” so I figured hey, they might still be around. It’s been a couple weeks now and is still sitting on a single check, but their profile still says “last seen recently”. So my uneducated guess is it’s hit their device, but perhaps they’re just not opened it? Or does one check not necessarily mean it’s been delivered?

Telegram group shows the name of the group instead of mine
I have created a group let's named "MyGroup" and there are 3 members one of which is also an administrator.When others message I can see their firstname or username but when I message I see the name of the Group insteadIs is how my chat history looks like
