[Q] what does is mean when strangers pm you "hi" or "hello"
i'm in a busy 200 post/hour chat channel, and every day or two
someone out of the blue who was not involved with the discussion
will pm me a "hello" or "hi", etc.
i simply archive that chat and i do not respond at all.
so what is this really all about?
i mean if i had to cold pm someone, i'd open up with some
"mission statement" as to why i'm bothering them at all.
what do strangers think they can accomplish with a "hi"

stop random hoes / whores from talking to me??
does anyone know how I can stop random women from trying to contact me? i get so many of these chats a week it's insane. just random women with lewd photos saying "hi" or sending me a "hello emote". it takes to many clicks to "delete" and i don't want a bunch of "archive" wenches. i'm not being added to a group, it's just a direct message.my privacy settings
i read telegram faqs but nothing helpsIf I go into archive like a week later, nothing but "Delete Account"... this is crazy!!I use the desktop app on Windows 10... maybe I can turn off "people near me" somehow?? Is that how they are finding me? I'm not in any telegram groups and I only chat with like 30 IRL friends.

Material You support/theme for Telegram
Does anybody know of a way to get a Material You theme for Telegram? Or do we think they will build native support for this into the app soon?I am personally loving the latest updates to a lot of apps to form a consistent UI across my entire phone, but Telegram is beginning to stand out more and more due to its colour scheme.

random people messaging me saying we're in a group together but we are not.
Hello, for the past 2 weeks I've been receiving a ton of random chats from people I do not know. They all say that we're in some group together but we're definitely not because I cannot see any mutual groups on their profile. From people wanting to sell nudes until people wanting to coach me (?) into crypto. I replied to some of them asking where they got my number and they say random groups names, one guy, supposedly from Australia, said we were in a group of rental houses from Barcelona (?????)) anyways... How do I stop this? I have my configs set so no one can chat with me.

[Q] Why am I getting / is anyone else experiencing a telegram sending error?
Hello all; I recently started getting messages hanging (the clock delay icon) when messaging people. These will be people with whom I share a contact and even if I send the Spam Info Bot a /start message that will hang as well; so I doubt this is some kind of anti-spammer checkbox being tripped.People have indicated they can see the [this user is typing] or even [searching to sticker] notification when I am typing or searching for stickers but no matter what I send it never goes through.Is there some setting or flag that has been tripped? This happened last night and then suddenly cleared then has happened again tonight.

Could someone direct me to the API documentation that would allow the reading of all chats for a user (private and group)?
I'm looking into creating a bot similar to others out there that Forward Telegram message from 1 user to another user or group. I could use existing bots out there, but would rather write some code on my own if possible.Thanks.

My blocked list has gone from like 30 to 130 in a little under a couple of months.I changed my @ as well and I'm waiting to see if that helps.Most of my security settings are either just friends or no-one.Any ideas?
