Entire conversation disappeared and "last seen a long time ago": what does it mean?
Hello!Yesterday I got a very difficult conversation with someone. This morning, our entire chat history disappeared, and I can read "last seen a long time ago" under her name. What does it mean? Did she blocked me? Did she deleted her account? Did she simply deleted the conversation or removed me from her contacts? What would happen if I send her a message?Is there a way to recover our conversation? It makes me very sad to have lost all of itthank you

[Q] Toggle Telegram Notifications?
I'd like to temporarily disable Android Telegram group notifications without affecting the notifications in my other apps. A 3rd party app, shortcut or widget would be nice. Thanks.

why telegram has no end to end encryption by default?
don't tell me that whatsapp and signal with e2ee sucks I know it, tell me any reason why not e2ee? to sync between devices and sessions?

[Android] Telegram doesn't show notifications unless vpn is enabled
I have Xiaomi Redmi and I don't receive Telegram notifications unless I connect to VPN. Other apps deliver notifications as usual. Only Telegram doesn't deliver notification but when I connect my phone to VPN all notifications from Telegram appear right away. What could be the problem?

Can the person that blocked me see an edited message?
If someone blocked me, read the message I sent prior to blocking me and I edit that message after getting blocked, will they be able to see the edit?

What is My Telegram Handle?
Hi, I really need to know which of my Telegram names is my "Handle". I need this info for a very important form I need to fill out. If I put the wrong name in, it will be quite problematic for me. The form asks for my "Handle", however, Telegram only shows, "Name" and 'Username".

Import complete WhatsApp chat into telegram
Hi. I messed up my backup from whatsapp after having notification issues with the app. After looking for some solutions I found out that my gf can import the chat from whatsapp into telegram. We started chatting on the 25th of September. When she exported the chat into telegram, the imported chat only starts on the first of October. Does anybody know why this happens? Is there a way to import the whole history? Thanks in advance!

Delete and leave
Some of my groups have the "delete and leave" option while others just have the leave option. Obviously leave makes me leave the group but what is delete and leave? Delete the group completely? Im not an admin of any of my groups so I dont think i should be able to delete any of the groups, so what does this option mean?

I cannot delete Telegram files on Mac
Hi, folks. I use the Telegram app to download books from some public groups. The problem is: even if I go to my download folder and delete a certain file, then go to the trash and permanently erase it, it still does not go away. In the group under the file name it still appears "show in finder", if I click it, the document opens instantly, I don't have to download it again, so it has not been truly deleted. Help me, pls.

Met requirements for both username and verification but no response from Telegram
I met the the requirements in username_bot and verify_bot to change username and get the blue check mark but shockingly there’s zero response from Telegram and it’s been a few days. They usually approve within 24-48 hours. Is there anything I could still do?

Can't login to account because I'm not already signed into it on any device??
I'm trying to log back into Telegram, which I only ever used on DeskTop before, but I signed out last time and now when I try to sign back in from the same device/PC, I'm told a code was sent to my other devices.. which don't exist.When I click 'Send code via SMS' so that I can get the text as I had always done in the past, I'm told "Please enter the code that was sent to you via Telegram or log in via QR code."​Why is it no longer possible to sign in via text?

Is there a bot out there that would run without command and will send celebratory message when the TG group hits their Nth member - a # customized by the admin? For example, once the TG group hits 1000 members, have the bot send a custom message in celebration of the Nth Member milestone? If not, can someone make it?! LOL
