Trying to delete conversation for "Deleted Account" contact
For a normal contact it seems I can delete our conversation for both of us.However, I have a user which says "Deleted Account" and because of this it's not letting me delete the conversation on their side.Can they just re-install Telegram and get access back to the conversation?

What does it do?
It seems that the "mark as unread" feature does not work. I tried it with my alt account yet I can clearly see 2 ticks. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Is the telegram app reliable when it comes to buying you know what off of individuals?
I purchased something today and i hope this person doesn't scam me or that it doesn't get incercepted in the mail its only a very small amount.

Doesn't mark as unread remove the read receipt for the other person on the message?And if no then what is the point of the feature.

How to contact Telegram support and get a response?
I have been trying to contact Telegram support for almost two weeks now with no response.
I have gotten no response from support via multiple emails, multiple tweets (linked below), support form on the website, and the volunteer support chat in app (multiple messages).Is there a way to actually get in touch with support? I'm looking for a Telegram Bot who can check if a user is a Twitch Subscriber of the channel
Hi, anyone knows a telegram bot who can check if the user of the group is a sub on a particular Twitch Channel, to remove all the users that aren't subscribers? I want to create a group only for subs, but after 1 months when the sub expires I don't want them to lurk inside the channel without the sub. Thanks for your attention

How to stop photos and videos from Auto saving in the "telegram photos" and "telegram videos" files as well as stoping them from poping up in my gallery
Recently every single photo form every group and chat will show up in my gallery as well as be auto saved to the folders even tho ive disabled auto save on both the Android app as well as the web browser but im constantly having to deleted to extra photos and videos because is taking up way to much space way to fast am i the only one with this issue please any help would be a godsend

How can telegram afford to host so much data?
Genuinely want to understand how it is that Google needs to charge people to host anything more than 15 gigs, yet Telegram's cloud offers no data cap and remains a free service. It obviously costs money to run servers and host all this data, and donations from a single person don't seem enough to cover the cost.

Filter messages based on a specific word
I am part of a group on telegram which posts over a 100 messages per hour, but I'm only interested in posts with a specific word in them.I'm trying to find a bot which would notify me whenever a message with that specific word is posted. Can anyone please tell me how I can do this?

How does blocking people not to find me by my number works? And why my user don't appear for some people?
I'm having this problem that I can't figure out what the hell is happening.On my configurations it says that if I block people to find me using my number they'll only be able to do so if I have their number on my contacts too or if they have my user ID. The thing is that this isn't always true.Some people can easily find me using my number and I don't have their number saved at all, not on my regular contacts nor on my Telegram contacts.And while this is happening it's the third time someone can't find me using my telegram ID and neither I can find them using their ID. They have to use the "t. me/myuser" to find me, because I don't want to give them my number, and the ones I do give them my number not always can they find my because of this configuration of blocking people to not find my by my number, which seems to work when it wants since some people can find my using my number.Why is this happening? It's really annoying and I love Telegram, but people here where I live strongly favor the green one, unfortunately, so when things like this happen they get easily annoyed and don't want to chat through Telegram and just asks for my number to chat via that disgusting WPP.And I can't do nothing because I do need to talk to most of them and they don't like using emails.Can anyone help with that? Can I make a permanent fix to this problem? Can I truly activate the privacy setting so people won't be able to find my by my number and it keeps working all the time for everyone? And I trust that my ID won't bug for some odd reason and making me disappear from the global search? Is good to note that for the people that claim they can't find me ok global search I can't find them either.

How exactly does Telegram backs up my account (chats, media, settings, etc.)?
I use mainly WhatsApp and I think its backup pretty straightforward - every day all my conversations and media are backed up both locally and to the cloud. I can actually see when that data was last backed up.I have already had to (re)install WhatsApp on a new phone (more than once) and the process was extremely simple and direct.But when it comes to Telegram I just can't see when and where the backups are being done, that if they're being done at all.If I have to reinstall Telegram on a new phone will I be able to automatically recover all my chats and media or everything will be lost?P.S.: right now I don't have any secret chat but I would like to know if the process is different for regular and secret chats.Thanks!

Telegram is not working
Hi, this morning i opened the app but nothing was loading and on the top left corner of the app the write "connecting" was not coming off. I tried to reinstall it but when i put the authentication code even of it was right a pop-up error saying "RPC_CALL_FAIL" won't let me continue. Also after the error if press the enter button the app let me in but it was all blank without showing nothing. I'm very worried because I don't know what to do...

Is it dangerous to make chat_id public for internal channel?
I have a internal channel with bot, me and college as a subscribers. I am using bot's api key(secured) to send some info inside the internal channel. Channel id is somehow public. Is it possible to somehow sneak to our internal channel with chat_id?Thanks
