An idiot is sending my tag to guys on chats as revenge and i'm getting tired of it
long story short: I banned an idiot on a telegram group and as revenge he's going on an anonymous chat bot impersonating me and giving random guys my (F) tag. it's almost been a week and this loser has too much free time and keeps getting guys to contact me.Now, I would like to avoid changing my tag or closing it off to everyone, since I need to be contacted by other people, so my question is: what can I do?

Yesterday Telegram experienced a record increase in user registration and activity.

The daily growth rate of Telegram exceeded the norm by an order of magnitude, and we welcomed over 70 million refugees from other platforms in one day. I am proud of how our team handled the unprecedented growth because Telegram continued to work flawlessly for the vast majority of our users. That said, some users in the Americas may have experienced slower speed than usual as millions of users from these continents rushed to sign up for Telegram at the same time.

I ask our existing users to say hi to their newly arrived friends, help them unpack, and let them know what we have in stock. Make sure they stick around and see why Telegram is light years ahead of the competition.

Is there a way to forward messages from a private Telegram group to Discord, without admin rights to the private Telegram?
Hey guys,I'm part of a private Telegram group (I'm assuming Supergroup as it has ~7k members). I don't have admin rights to add a bot.Is there some sort of user bot/bot that logs in to my Telegram account and watches that specific channel for new posts? And then is able to forward the message to Discord? If no such bot exists yet, would it be possible to code myself?I've already looked at Integromat and TediCross with no success, the TediCross docs say that you need admin rights for the private Telegram channel. And Integromat does not have much in the way of docs so I got stuck after the intial set-up (though I assume it's the same situation about the bot needing to be added to the private Telegram group with admin rights)​Thanks for any info you guys can share :)

Is there a way to export my telegram contacts to my phone contacts? Right now, when I add people to my contacts in Telegram, it does not show up in my phone contacts. If relevant, I'm currently using an Andriod

I'm making a social experiment
I took advantage of the recent Facebook outage...I want to ditch WhatsApp but I'm not ready to go cold turkey yet. I'm using NetGuard on Android (also available from F-Droid) so I can disconnect WhatsApp from the network (both WiFi and mobile).As a social experiment, I'm just turning it on for WhatsApp a few times during the day. There is a profile description and photo with my Telegram username (I'm waiting for the feature to be available on Signal, too).I haven't gotten messages so far. Though if someone tries to message me on WA will notice I will literally take hours to reply. Hopefully they will wonder if there's still a problem with WhatsApp and encourage them to reach me out on Telegram.Another approach would be to switch to WhatsApp Business and set automated greetings with my Telegram username. Though I have already another phone number for business. A second phone would be needed as messages are only delivered when online.

New contact joined Telegram but it doesn't exsist?
Hi everyone. Today Telegram notified me that a contact joined Telegram. I checked that user but I don't have in my contacts. It doesn't exsist for me. It doesn't have any nickname so the name that appeared was the same I saved it on my phone but, again, it doesn't exsist.Can someone explain how is it possible? Thank you

Are there any actual NSFW rooms on telegram?
All of the rooms I've joined looking to just share NSFW content has been spammed with either discord links or russian bots. Are there any legit rooms where people just upload and share any and all kinds of NSFW media without a thousand messages with spam links?

[Q] Duplicate "new login" notification?
Yesterday, I logged in to Telegram WebZ on a PC, scanning the QR code with my phone (running Plus Messenger). After entering my cloud password in Telegram WebZ, I received the standard "New login" notification on my phone, but also a second one at the very same time, listing the exact sime login timestamp, client and platform, but my phone's cellular IP. I immediately checked my active sessions but found nothing unusual. I'm a bit worried about this, could this be some man-in-the middle attack or anything malicious?

BotFather new bots aren't working
Im attempting to make a new bot using BotFather. After naming the bot and sending /start to the newly made bot, nothing occurs. It's unresponsive. Has anyone had this, and how do I solve it?
