Why is it not possible anymore to log in on Desktop without a smartphone?
I used it on Desktop W7 2-3 years ago. Now you need a log in code which is sent to your other devices via Telegram. I have a prepaid phone with SMS. No smartphone or similar. Send code via SMS is not possible. It say enter code which was sent via Telegram or log in via QR. I am a little baffled.

Some of saved messages and private chat histories have disappeared in mobile app.
Chat history parts of saved messages and personal chats are disappeared in mobile app. But in PC app those messages are there. How can I restore those lost messages on mobile app?

[WearOS 3] Sideload Telegram App or unofficial Third-party-app?
Hello everyone,Recently I finally got my hands on my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, only to find out that telegram dropped support for WearOS 3 and removed the app from the PlayStore between my pre-order and the final shipment of the watch, invalidating my number one reason to switch back to wearOS.Hence, I am wondering wether it is possible to sideload the telegram app for wearOS somehow or if there exists a third-party alternative that I could use. Some Webbrowser and the web-version of telegram are the fallback, but a dedicated app would be much better!

Interference on voice call?
Was phoning with my dad on telegram as I was walking today to catch up with him, he said that for about 10 seconds he could hear another conversation like it was coming from a speaker saying it sounded almost like interference from the days of old. Is this even possible with VOIP? What could be an explanation?

Call suddenly drops
Idk if it’s a bug but recently, calls suddenly drop without notice (beeps like when reconnecting). Call gets canceled after 5-15 minutes. I’m using telegram for ios. App and software are both up to date. Am I the only one experiencing this? What to do to solve this issue? Thanks!

Having trouble registering with Telegram (no smartphone, MacOS)
Hi!I'm having trouble getting Telegram on my MacOS.So, this is my experience thus far:A) I download Telegram for MacOS. I only have this device, and then an old-school cell phone with no access to internet.B) So far so good. The application is up-and-running on my MacOS. The first window to pop-up is a "Sign In" page. In order to sign in, I am asked to provide my cell phone number for a confirmation text. I do so but do not receive any texts.D) Suddenly, I realize that I must first register with Telegram (duh). The program advises that I open the application on my mobile device in order to sign up. However, I do not have a smart phone and therefore I am not able to complete this step.E) I try web.telegram.com and I get a window which asks me to sign up by, once again, providing a phone number which is able to receive a text from Telegram. Is it possible to download data from a group after deleted using Telegram Desktop?
The owner of the group I'm part of told that the group will be deleted tomorrow and I won't have the time to download all the media that I want since most of the videos are in 4K and over 1gbI've downloaded lots of videos in a previous group I was a part of using "exporting your data" on Telegram Desktop but my question is:is it possible to do that after a group gets deleted? Is the data still saved or it's all gone?

Telegram web keeps logging me out.
This happened for the third time now, it seems to be random. No one else has my account other than 2 sessions which are my phone and Web in Opera browser. The web client keeps logging out 3 times this week which is getting annoying.Does anyone else experience this or have a solution?

Hello. So someone on the other end accidentally cleared all history chat and ticked the box that the chat would be deleted at my end as well. I still have some media files from the chat in the android device cache folders but do I still have the text messages? Can I recover them?

Hi, I want to download a Voice Message from the app. It doesn't seem to provide me with an option to download a Voice Message- only Select, Delete, Forward, Pin, and Reply. I have both Android and iOS, and also have access via the web app.
