Does API limit all messages sent by the bot to 30/s or just bulk messages?
Hi All!I want to develop a telegram bot. I guess it will have a large userbase and each user may sent near 100 messages to the bot and receive near 100 in each day. However, based on my calculation, if there is a limit of 30 message per second, my bot cannot have more than 30*3600*24/100 ~= 30000 users? I am wondering also callbacks from pushing buttons is counted? Also, do these limits just only apply to when I want to send bulk messages that are copy of each other or it is just a rate limit on how many messages a bot can send in overall?

Looking for bot that requires users to read and agree to rules before given access to channel?
Hello, I have a pair of telegram channels where i post NSFW artwork of mine, and have been searching for some kind of way to set group rules, and have new members have to read and agree to the rules before they get access to the channel contents. I've tried searching both this reddit and the wider web for such a bot but can't seem to find one that specifically does this for channels. Does anyone know of one? It was suggested elsewhere that I just make a channel with only the rules in and then an invite link to the main channel, which would work if my channels weren't already up and running with many people in that would have to migrate, and I'd have to go back and change hundreds of invite links posted to various platforms with my work.

Telegram streaming download is very slow
Hi, I attempted to make a new application on Telegram that allows me to manage my account and download several files ranging from 1 to 5 gigabytes from Telegram groups. However, when I used the Telethon Python package to download the files using streams, I noticed that it takes a significant amount of time to complete the download. Specifically, the download speed is around 200 megabytes per minute. It's worth noting that my internet connection speed is 500 megabytes per second, and my computer has an 8-core CPU and 32 gigabytes of RAM

A bot to handle 'user is typing' events
Hi,
Hope you're all having a great day.
I am very new to Telegram bots and I have been pulling my hair over an apparently very simple problem.
I am trying to build a script that would be triggered when a certain user starts typing a message in a chat (that is, *before* they have finished and posted the message in question), and send an alert to another chat to tell them that the user is about to post something. The goal is deploy this on a channel where a sports tipster is posting live bets, where it is important that people are as reactive as people to avoid odds drops. I have gone through some amount of documentation and it seems that the Telethon library is the best fitted to do such a thing in Python, via the events Class. I am trying to use their events class in particular, via the following code:

This seems to follow their syntax and recommandations, and indeed it does connect to my account, asking me for my phone number, etc. But after I connect, it fails to perform and print to be triggered when I (or someone else) starts typing (in either a privateDM chat or a common channel). I am sure I am missing something obvious here, though, because I am very new to use. Could anyone help me with this, and/or have other suggestions on how to have a bot/script send alerts the moment a user in a given chat starts typing a message? Thanks in advance,
