Why do read message on Mac still send a notification to other devices?
When I read comments in telegram groups on MacBook, it still sends a notification on my iPhone after some time in reply chat. How can I fix this?

Restrict/Ban users from Group by ID
Hey all,My question is: Is there a solution or a bot that looks at the ID of newly joined users and if it matches one of the IDs on the so-called "banned list", it automatically kicks them out?In practice, this means that: I don't want a member who has been banned of one group to join another group!Thanks in advance for your help and reply!

looking to merge content of two channels and remove duplicates
I use telegram to archive material. It is great for that. I use minder and refer to the material via the telegram post links. Super easy.My stuff is sorted into channels. Over time I have been sloppy and duplicated material while using two channels for the same subject, or not really observing the scope of the channels I created.All have zero users, while it is visible to the public there are no users.Just in case someone does something similar and would by chance find my stuff I leave it public and open for comments. No worry, nobody finds anything there if not specifically searched, and people can only search through stuff they have joined. But I can share it with others if I need to.Yes, I can forward and delete.Two issues: first: it is extremely tedious, and telegram does not cleanly come back in a channel, nor maintain a selection across actions: after forwarding 100 at a time the selection disappears, so I have to re-create it from memory to remove it from the old channel. I want to keep the old channel, the name is different and I might forward some things back into there.second: the first makes that I sometimes create duplicates in the target channel on top of duplicates that may already be in there, obviously one of them never referenced.While there seem to be two bots to deal with duplicates in chat groups there does not seem to be anything similar to do it in a channel. The target channel sometimes already has an item in it, there does not seem to be a 'no duplicates' bot for channels either.What I can do so far: just carry on across a ton of items, then go through the items again, identify duplicates and removeCould I make a bot that does what some bots do for groups but on a channel? Can I adapt an existing bot for a group to run on a channel? At least to prevent the creation of new duplicates.Then I would need after everything is done a bot that walks my channel and dedupes it.Anyone has done it?Any real expert hints where I could start?Maybe I have overlooked one in the bot store, or there is one with some seemingly unrelated title that I could configure to do what I need?Funny thing: I asked someone who offers a 'product' if his product can do that. He did not answer but suggested he can look into it for $340. (if everyone would do similarly then trolls would just go away automagically)

finding stickers by emoji is harder than it was.
I got used to sticker search by just putting an emoji in on my phone but that has become weirdly complicatedUsually to get a sticker you're looking for you gotta put in the emoji and then select the sticker.Now it's actually 6 steps Put an emoji into the text box> select the emoji button> change it to stickers> click on the text box to> press space AND sometimes i have to delete it> then i can choose the sticker i indexed.Weird bug. Hope it gets fixed.Does this happen to anyone else?

Telegram Video compression is horrible.
Usually when i send videos i tend to send them at the highest quality, because usually when i compress the video it just takes longer to send on my phone.But now i noticed that they get compressed at full resolution anyway, which I wouldn't have a problem with if it didn't take so long to send a single video.Usually it took 3 seconds to send 5 mb of video, now it takes 30sec. To 1 minute.If that was the only problem though, i would just keep this as a nitpick though but the compression is actually hilariously bad, a common example nowadays I'd say, is when i send a tiktok video it has 1mb and gets compressed "down" to 5 mbNow okay, it's just 5 mb, but that applies to larger videos with ok compression already 5X THE FILE SIZE.So what's the point anyway? it's tiktok, it uses standard mp4 so i doubt there is any other reason than telegram trying to cut on storage but just failing at least on my part
