Does deleting Telegram Mac delete the giant "db" folder in system files?
I have a folder called "db_sqlite" in a "keepcoder.Telegram" folder that takes 40GB and I have zero idea what it is. I assume it's chat cache because there's no option to clear it, only to clear media cache.Does deleting and reinstalling Telegram on Mac clear that folder?

Hire a programmer to develop a bot?
Hello, Is there any fairly experienced programmer available that would be able to develop a Telegram bot for me?The long and short of it is: Navigation menu > Forward messages to group > Allow people(admins) in group to reply to incoming messages and the bot resends the replies to the user interacting with botAbove functionality available between two groups, depending which option they choose on the menu.Ability for admin to block users from interacting with the bot.Spam preventionRequire the user to be following our main channel before interactingWill explain more if you’re able to achieve this. I’ve tried with ManyBot. But it’s just not reaching what I’d like it to, close tho

Can you read messages from a private group posted by specific users using APIs?
I’m part of a couple of telegram private groups and trying to automatically extract messages posted by a few specific members on the groups and parse them for some data using Python.Can anyone tell me if this is doable and which API can be used for this and can someone guide me with it?I’ve basic knowledge of Python and API usage.

"Cant chat in public groups"
So this happened a few days ago aswell and it was somehow resolved in abit but this happened again , I cant chat in groups beside some , which is weird , like i can talk in few and not in anyother or dm people , i havent spammed anywhere i just normally chat with friends and some crypto groups i follow and talk about it there , can anyone help with this? How to back-up your chats ?(2023)
Backing up your chats looks impossible to me since the latest updates. Error - "Could not register for autostart"
Hi community, I'd need help.I am running Almalinux 9.1 (Gnome 40 + Wayland out of the box) since recently and installed Telegram as a flatpak (v4.5).I am unable to set "Launch Telegram when system starts" - there's always an arror message popping up: "Could not register for autostart"​https://preview.redd.it/9z8f7k6ti6ca1.png?width=486&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=fa33d0a85d5a977f7cea84232858f1842904e462For now, I simply registered Telegram with Gnome/Optimization as an autostart application.But by doing this I cannot start Telegram in a minimized mode (for doing this I would need to set within the telegram settings Launch with system start and subsequently set to start it minimized) But this oes not work for me currently.Anyone out there with an idea what to do?

So now i cant even talk to my gf anymore , telegram is not letting me chat to anyone , all I did after my last restriction (which couldnt let me talk in public chats , idek why it was imposed because i barely chat there or do anything like spamming or sending links) now i cant chat to anyone , anyone help me out please , I have reported in spam bot too

MenuBuilder Bot leaves group when I add it
Any idea why the bot keeps automatically leaving the group when I add it in? I’ve looked through their WiKi and nothing addresses this. The support group chat is unhelpful (to say the least).I had this issue when trying to add it to Group-1 and eventually after tinkering with everything and repeated efforts it worked. Now repeating everything I can’t get it to stay in Group-2. MenuBuilder does support this!

Poor Call and Video Quality since Nov, 2022; Bluetooth disconnection issue as well
Me and my family moved to Telegram few years back. We used the service well and are grateful for the features and how easy it is to use the application.However, since November 2022, the issues with Telegram have become overwhelming. Video and Call quality have taken significant dip - this is not a network issue as we don't face the same issues when we switch to WhatsApp. Another major issue we're facing is bluetooth headset getting disconnected or not getting recognized when a call connects - we've to connect the call, then manually disconnect and reconnect bluetooth headset to use it during a telegram call.We use WhatsApp as a backup but off late it seems the experience we're getting with WhatsApp is smoother as compared to Telegram.I wanted to call it out so that moderators are aware of these issues and can make efforts to fix them.
