Telegram without phone or no? (creating & using account)
Someone in LBRY (decentralized alternative to youtube) told recently "in telegram you can use it without a phone number, it's new since a few weeks".So if it is true, i can just re-download Telegram app for Linux to be able to can create new account without phone?

anyone facing issue to download telegram?
there has been issues with my telegram (unable to see photos nor video messages) hence i tried to delete the app but i’m unable to download it back, the download button just keeps circling, does anyone have the same issue? please help because all of my chats are there :(

Telegram badge count not updating consistently on iOS
Someone else posted this and it’s still an active bug- I am also experiencing this. Anyone else? Any updates?iOS 16.2 telegram 9.3.2 Have tried entering debug mode and reindexing unread count. Have tried clearing caches. Rebooting phone. All combinations of resetting notifications.I made a second account and logged in from another device to test this and sent messages back and forth via secret chat and it seemed to work just fine.Then with my one particular friend the issue is occurring with it still occurs. Can an individual chat be bugged? Am I destined to have to completely delete and reset telegram and lose this secret chat?ThanksUPDATE- it seems the badge counter only updates in the foreground. When app is closed from the app switcher it won’t update the badge“Badges not showing up on the telegram (iOS) app?I used to have two telegram accounts and recently deleted one of them. i'm restricted from sending messages for no reason
I just wanted to send a normal message in a public group then I found out that I am restricted by the spam bot. I was not hacked yhat was on my new account it was fresh I yried to contact group admins by I cant send messages to peoples that are not mutual contacts. I sent a message to the volunteer support but no response since 10 days. Please anybody can help get my account back normal

Stop telegram names from showing elsewhere in iOS
I have some people, my girlfriend for example, who I have in my iOS contacts under their real name, but they use a username for telegram. Whenever I get a phone call from her it now shows the caller as "(Real name) or (username)", or when she adds something to our shared calendar is says "(username) added an event". I don't want telegram usernames showing anywhere outside the telegram app. As far I can see her iOS contact shows no connection to telegram, how can I disable this from happening?
