Friends, we are starting a series of posts about tokens included in the TLB500 index.
Today we will talk about $SCALE.
So, what is known about this token?
The $SCALE token belongs to the decentralized exchange DeDust.io.
DeDust was the winner of the largest hackathon on TON, held by TON Foundation together with the DoraHacks platform.
At the end of the event, the technical judges praised the exchange's smart contracts.
Is it worth mentioning here the developers' technical savvy and knowledge of subtleties, their ability to bring new ideas to life?
Initially, the Scaleton project appeared against the background of active growth of the TON ecosystem. Scaleton was conceived as a marketplace for the creation and sale of NFTs by new users of the TON network.
The idea was not new and at that time there was already competition from other platforms. Apparently, the founder of the project Scaleton realized it in time and decided to abandon the idea of creating NFT-marketplace in favor of developing DeFi-ecosystem.
The first product - an explorer for working with tokens - was launched at the end of spring 2022 and became the first project on TON, allowing to send tokens using the web version.
More on that next. Also in late spring 2022, the team test-launched the first decentralized protocol on TON, where everyone could try to exchange Toncoin for SCALE.
Next came the DeDust exchange, the launch of which was a major event for the ecosystem: some tokens on TON were immediately listed on CoinMarketCap, and the number of transactions per second on the blockchain during a certain period was significant.
At the moment, the DeDust platform is the leading decentralized exchange on TON and continues to develop. Liquidity is growing, the number of tokens and users is increasing.
The $SCALE token is utilitarian. At the moment, holders of the coin can send it to staking and receive a percentage of the exchange's revenue.
