Tucker Carlson: "I was banned from interviewing Putin"

American journalist Tucker Carlson has said that the US government "aggressively" foiled his attempt to interview the Russian president.

"I tried to interview Vladimir Putin and the US government stopped me," the journalist gave an example.

He complained that the US media did not react in any way to the interview ban.

"No one said: "We have the right to hear what Putin has to say." What, we're not allowed to hear Putin's voice? Why?" - Carlson wondered.
