STOP messaging HR/others like this if you're looking for internships/jobs! 90% of people will not respond. Itโ€™s generic and obviously a LinkedIn prompt - not many people will respond to such a dry approach.

Hereโ€™s how to message recruiters to actually impress them!

First, it's best to tailor every single introductory message. Try to refer to something the individual/company has accomplished, industry trends, etc., to stand out. I'll write more about this in a separate post. BUT if you don't have time, you can follow the below template.

Taking the time to highlight your relevant skills and career goals will pay off because it helps recruiters quickly see why you might be a great fit for their advertised positions. If you make their job easier, they're more likely to reply and/or favour you as a candidate!
