“It is usually the psychic being [soul, higher self] which guides the being. One knows nothing about it because one is not conscious of it, but usually, it is that which guides the being. If one is very attentive, one becomes aware of it.

But the majority of men haven't the least idea of it. But it will create for you all the circumstances necessary to awaken something in you so that the need of union with the Divine may be born in your consciousness.

At times you have made fine plans, and if they had succeeded, you would have been more and more encrusted in your outer ignorance, your stupid little ambition and your aimless activity.

Whilst if you receive a good shock, and the post you coveted is denied to you, the plan you made is shattered, arid you find yourself completely thwarted, then, sometimes this opposition opens to you a door on something truer and deeper.

And when you are a little awake and look back, if you are in the least sincere, you say: "Ah! it wasn't I who was right — it was Nature or the divine Grace or my psychic being who did it." It is the psychic being which organized that.

If you have within you a psychic being sufficiently awake to watch over you, to prepare your path, it can draw towards you things which help you, draw people, books, circumstances, all sorts of little coincidences which come to you as though brought by some benevolent will and give you an indication, a help, a support to take decisions and turn you in the right direction.

But once you have taken this decision, once you have decided to find the truth of your being, once you start SINCERELY on the road [with radical self-honesty], then everything seems to conspire to help you to advance.”

I've had an incredibly deep and inspiring conversation with visual artist and storyteller Lubomir Arsov about the mission of art, creativity, and shadow work in the context of our times.

Lubomir is the creator of the award-winning animated film "IN-SHADOW: A Modern Odyssey" (2017), which explores the fragmented unconscious of our times.

He recently released the follow-up "KINGDOM" (2024), a visceral audio-visual experience that maps out the initiatory path of empowerment and awakening.

He’s also the director and creator of the short film "The Forest King," a modern interpretation of the Scandinavian myth Erlkonig. The film depicts the dangers of Transhumanism and VR technology with Luciferian and Ahrimanic themes.

Lubomir and I discuss many current themes, including the evolution of consciousness, the process of individuation, the battle of dark vs. light, Transhumanism, the splitting of humanity, inorganic vs. organic timelines, the importance of finding our courage and personal myth, and much more.

The Great Awakening And Riding The Waves Of Change

It’s not just exposing all the corruption and evil in the world. It’s as much, and even more so, an internal process.

It's about facing our shadows, wounds, traumas, conditioning, attachments, identifications, and disillusionment to be reborn in the true Self.

It's about allowing anything that is not in alignment with TRUTH and who we TRULY ARE beyond the programmed personality mask to be washed away by the metaphorical waves of change and burned away in the fire of transmutation.

The Way of Transformation

“Only to the extent that man exposes himself over and over again to annihilation can that which is indestructible arise within him. In this lies the dignity of daring.

Thus, the aim of (spiritual) practice is not to develop an attitude which allows a man to acquire a state of harmony and peace wherein nothing can ever trouble
him.

On the contrary, practice should teach him to let himself be assaulted, perturbed, moved, insulted, broken, and battered - that is to say, it should enable him to dare to let go his futile hankering after harmony, surcease from pain, and a comfortable life in order that he may discover, in doing battle with the forces that oppose him, that which awaits him beyond the world of opposites.

The first necessity is that we should have the courage to face life, and to encounter all that is most perilous in the world.

When this is possible, meditation itself becomes the means by which we accept and welcome the demons which arise from the unconscious, a process very different from the practice of concentration on some object as a protection against such forces.

Only if we venture repeatedly through zones of annihilation can our contact with our Divine Being, which is beyond annihilation, become firm and stable.

The more a man learns whole-heartedly to confront the world that threatens him with isolation, the more the depths of the Ground of Being are revealed and the possibilities of New Life and Becoming opened.”
