A MURDEROUS SPIRIT

Back-stabbing, gossip, ridicule, shaming, name-calling....we all have experienced it by people who can't let go but need to project their internalized unconscious toxic shame and shadow unto us, especially on social media. Or maybe you have done the same to others? Here's the take from the Christan lens:

“Our Creator God gives life and breathes life. Wherever there is life, God is somewhere behind its genesis. He had some impact, some influence, something to do with that creation. Jesus spoke of Satan as a murderer (John 8:44) who is obsessed with death. Murder is more than wanting someone’s lungs to stop breathing; there is the murder of ministry, the murder of reputation, the murder of happiness, and the murder of peace. In Matthew 5:21–22, Jesus expands the definition of murder to include malicious intent.

When you disagree with a person who has done evil, he or she often won’t just disagree with you and let it go. Some will hate you to the point of murder, merely for pointing out their sin: “For John had been saying to Herod, ‘It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.’ So Herodias nursed a grudge against John and wanted to kill him” (Mark 6:18–19). It’s not enough for a toxic person to say, “You and I will have to agree to disagree.”

If your beliefs make them feel guilty, they want to remove your voice and influence, even if that means removing . . . you. We see a similar spirit to Herod’s unleashed today, with large swaths of people who don’t think Christians who hold certain views should be able to voice their opinions. They want them to disappear or to be completely silenced. They will use shame or the law, but they will be vicious nonetheless.

The best label for this silencing is social murder. Healthy people can disagree and walk away. Toxic people harbor a murderous spirit, at least in the sense of wanting to completely discredit you and shut you up. The apostle John warned, “Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him” (John 3:15). When you read the book of Acts, the story of the early church is the story of opponents using every means—the law, persecution, ridicule, shaming, name-calling, and often physical murder—to get them to shut up.

Sometimes it looks like demonic opposition. But the end goal of this toxicity was always the same: Stop! Be silent. Kill what you’re doing and saying, or we’ll kill you."

Wow. Facebook just tried to gave me another 30 days of social media jail for sharing Bernhards article about the spiritual consequences of the covid jab. “Luckily”, it let me dispute the decision and now I will just get 90 days of “having my posts moved lower down the newsfeed” ie shadowbanning instead.🙄

Crazy that I live in a world where I’m not allowed to say *anything* questioning the official story about the jab or random people who “hate follow” me will report my account.

I currently am now shadow banned on both instagram and Facebook.

As battle of censorship rages on, it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to use these platforms and hold any opinions that go against the status quo. There’s no room, you either agree with the narrative or you are an enemy of it.
Luckily, I choose to receive my strength from The Divine and the divine only.

All the more reason to focus on telegram for now…
