If we ponder this in-depth, we shall understand that psychologically this hostile attitude of the ‘World’ towards someone who carries on esoteric work is not only a normal phenomenon but is so to speak, a necessary one.
If he who lives in the wilderness — and is satisfied to be there, were to approve of the attitude of one who walks on the track, it would be equivalent to recognizing his own bankruptcy.
That is why the ‘World’ considers the latter as a failure. The more he progresses with his work, the more he becomes an object of hate. That is why it is said that: ‘no prophet is acceptable in his own country’ and why ‘the prophet is despised in his country, among his close relations and in his own house.‘
However, as well as the difficulties which are the first results of his evolution, [the seeker] will receive comforting impressions, especially in his human relations. He will be surprised to perceive one day that certain faces which only yesterday appeared to him ordinary, today shine in his eyes with a bright beauty.

Investing in our self-care pays itself back in our lives in all sorts of ways that we may not notice. The energy that we receive back is not a direct or obvious exchange and since it’s not I’ll get “this for that” type of commerce, people can often miss the value.
The more well-being we create within ourselves, the more well-being we create in the field around us. Maybe after we get a massage or do a yoga class, we notice that boss that was always hard on us softens up, maybe after we read a book or we get a therapy session tackling a childhood trauma, we get the self-love and courage to actually leave that job — and this catapults into finding one that uses our gifts, one that is more in alignment with our souls purpose, and one pays us back in the inner satisfaction it creates from us serving the world in a way which fulfills the soul.
The way we invest in the well-being of ourselves creates a depth of soul inside; which can also show up as a richness in our lives, a richness of the depths of our relationships, a richness in our connections to our community. I am having massive heart openings witnessing people from all different walks of life unite for freedom, and massive heartbreaks watching people dehumanize others, even their own families, over differences of belief and personal health decisions.
Since beginning of 2020, I’ve cried more times than I can count about how I’m experiencing what’s happening in the world. It breaks my heart. Crying helps me stay human. Knowing how to have a good cry helps free me so I can also have a good laugh. We need to keep being willing to FEEL what is happening and how this actually is for us— in order to stay HUMAN.
Nothing is worth losing your humanity over.
Nothing is worth hating another person over.
We will need to be able to grieve well to survive this Time of Transition. The grieving will help us to laugh, dance, sing, and create beauty, which will help us turn the darkness into light.
My point is, if we can stay in our human experience during these chaotic times it will give us the best chance to survive it—with our hearts still in tact.
It is of critical importance that we do not let what’s happening in the world make us lose our capacity to love one another.
It has been my life experience that trauma, when used as a catalyst for healing, can open our hearts to an even greater love than was ever possible before.
It breaks the armour around the heart right open.

Now is the time for all the dreamers, artists, the makers, the black sheep, the crazy ones, to unite together and create these new realities.
As the old world dies, the people of the new era are already here—building the exit plan to the world that our hearts dream is possible.
The only limitation is us and what we are willing or not willing to do with the power of our creative potential.
No one is coming to save us.
