In projection we are looking into a mirror of ourselves. It helps to use the analogy of viewing a movie. We feel attracted to or repelled by one of the actors. But the actor is not there!
We are gazing at a picture of our own attractions or repulsions. We are doing the same thing the projectionist is doing, projecting. The difference is that he is doing it without being triggered by what he sees.
Most of the time a trigger hinges on what we imagine or believe. We imagine that what is happening is serious, threatening, sometimes even having life-or-death importance or consequence.
For instance, if our ego has become indignant, we might believe the other person does not respect us as he should. Our belief can be, and often is, illusory. An experience can be carried over from the past and projected onto someone in the present.
Serious triggers hearken back to early trauma. Since triggers happen in the primitive brain, a recollection of a past moment seems totally real in the present. This is how they retraumatize us.
When the original painful event occurred, we were unable to express our indignation. It was unsafe to show our feelings. We dissociated ourselves from them. Our reaction to a trigger in the present finally enacts our original but stifled scream of fear or anger.
A trigger gives us a chance to experience fully in the here and now what was interrupted in the past. This is how the trigger experience can help us. The psyche, always on the lookout for an opportunity to heal and integrate, catches onto a trigger so that our original incomplete experience can be finished at last.”

AUTHENTICITY VS. INAUTHENTICITY
We start living an inauthentic life when we fall into the trap of comparison and are very concerned about what other people think of us and the way they see us, resulting in a people-pleaser program and a lack of boundaries.
We then build a fake persona to appear a certain way based on the social image we’d like to portray. We then start to identify with our external ego-personality and create a further disconnect from our true self/essence.
Any feelings and emotions that contradict the ideal image we have of ourselves then get pushed into the unconscious. This also results in suppression of our wounds, traumas and “negative” emotions which we don’t like to feel, express, and show.
Authenticity doesn’t mean to just express any desire or compulsion we may have or act out from our neurotic narcissistic ego—it means to act from our true self.
Therefore, genuine authenticity means to be in touch with our inner self; our body, our feelings, our spirit; and express this essence through the instrument of the ego-personality.
We then don’t shy away from pain and discomfort but see it as a sign to adjust, engaging in inner work without trying to escape or fill our internal emptiness through external means. There is no division between our outer and inner life.
Inauthenticity is based on an internal split; a contradiction between how we act, what we say and do, and how we feel internally. When we get stuck in inauthenticity, we lose our inner guidance connected to essence/the Divine.
Inauthenticity is also the result of head-centric living and disembodiment, it is a state where we live disconnected from the wisdom of our bodies. The more severe the body-mind split, the more we look externally for happiness, guidance, and fulfillment. Most people live inauthentic lives because of social and cultural conditioning.
The goals, desires, needs and wants they have and the lives/careers they pursue because of these needs/wants/desires, are most often not their own based on who they truly are within, but have been programmed into them via official cult-ure and/or are the result of trying to fill their emptiness/holes within based on unfelt wounds and trauma (that they might not even be consciously aware of).
These needs/wants/desires are also based on growing up in a world where pathology has become normalized, and their programming from growing up in this toxic culture. These conditioned/programmed goals and enjoyments in life serve as buffers to avoid facing the pain they are holding on an unconscious level. They don’t know who they are and don’t know that they don’t know.
There is no true individuality on that level of being but only mechanical living under the illusion of free will; influenced by group/hive mind mass consciousness and matrix occult forces. Over time, living an inauthentic life can result in depression and even illness and dis-ease—no matter how much care you may take of your physical body with the prescribed “right” diet and exercise.

We don’t learn from history [be it any hidden or official history] because an intellectual understanding of it is useless if it is not matched with the individuation process of shadow integration which is part of the Great Work. Hence, “history repeats” in different disguises as “fate” because we try to fight shadows on the wall as in Plato’s allegory of the cave.
The revolutionary impulse at any given time and age gives some relief and some apparent “change” but only on the surface and only in the short term. Gurdjieff called this deception the trap of the revolutionary mind because it is a mechanical revolt by masses of people who are not conscious, let alone engaged in any conscious self-work. There is no change in Being and consciousness.
It is always much easier to project evil/darkness externally and not facing your own darkness and the lies you tell yourself about yourself and your life. The battle within requires a much braver and more courageous warrior attitude than any battle “out there”.
This doesn’t mean refraining from outward action. Far from it, but it needs to come from within, grounded in the real “I”, and not the conditioned/wounded ego-personality which is easily mislead, tempted, and manipulated.
This mechanical revolt is also what the matrix forces and 'powers that be' calculate on with their classical Hegelian Dialect tactics of Problem-Reaction-Solution, feeding right in the matrix agenda while the people believe to revolt against it. It’s also the trap of the activism mindset or just trying to protest and signing petitions, calling your senators, etc.
We will “repeat history” in endless time loops over lifetimes and lifetimes like in a frequency prison caught in the illusion of change until a significant part of humanity starts to look within sincerely and begins the Great Work of the ages. Any blaming, complaining, and victimizing will only prolong the inevitable...and waste a lot of time and energy while feeding the matrix forces, literally and figuratively speaking.
We don’t get to move on until we have learned our [soul] lessons, individually and collectively.

Many metaphysical "light workers" are actually caricatures of genuine spiritual practitioners, as in their affirmations of the light are unwittingly avoiding conscious relationship with the darkness within themselves. Thinking that they don't want to "feed the darkness" by putting their attention on it, in their turning away from and avoiding their own darkness, they are unwittingly reinforcing the very evil from which they are fleeing.
Looking away from darkness, thus keeping it unconscious, is what evil depends upon for its existence. If we unconsciously react, as compared to consciously respond, to evil by turning a blind eye toward it - "seeing no evil" - we are investing the darkness with power over us."

The following excerpt from a lecture by Rudolf Steiner in 1917 will put things quite into perspective and verifies what I and many others have spoken/written about for years. It is becoming more and more obvious, to say the least.
That is why SOUL EMBODIMENT [Soul Integration, individualization] is KEY! and it doesn't happen by itself nor by just sharing/reading information.
Sincere efforts are needed to do this very challenging inner work to anchor the Divine within so the occult hostile forces [or 'Ahrimanic Demonic Powers' as Steiner called them] cannot take over the body and use it as a vessel to incarnate. It's always been called the Great Work for a reason and it's a battle for your soul. LITERALLY.
Also,, all the pathological "Woke" ideologies/concepts of critical race theory, systemic racism, Identity politics, Transgenderism [ESPECIALLY, targeting children via hormone blockers], and movements like BLM, Antifa...all the way back to Frankfurt School, Fabian Society, Neo-Marxism, Communism, National Socialism (Nazis) and Democratic Socialism (Eastern Germany) which is infecting and has infiltrated the US and western civilizations for decades are anti-Divine Lucefarian ideas promoted by people who have been literally taken over by hostile forces working through them.
You can't "reason" with these people. "Something else" is occupying them and has taken over. The eyes always give it away [Look at AOC's eyes, for example, [wonder "what" is driving her], or Pelosi, Biden, Gates, or anyone who proudly posts a selfie of themselves having taken the v@cks]
Their goal is to destroy spirituality, deny God, and drive away the soul. It also just didn't start recently or now with the obvious v@cks agenda tying into eugenics but has been in the works for centuries.
We're just at the "end game" right now. Obviously, it also ties into Transhumanism and A.I. promoted by soulless humans who are pure materialists [Elon Musk, Kurzweil, etc] and don't recognize spirit or a soul. They want to play god because they deny God.

…And because people are not able to have ideas or concepts about the true nature of things, they are sliding more and more deeply into chaos.
...THERE WILL BE VAST NUMBERS OF PEOPLE IN FUTURE…[WHOSE] CONCEPTS, IDEAS AND ACTIONS WILL BE BASED ON THE OUTSIDE WORLD AROUND THEM AND ON THE FACT THAT THEIR BODIES ARE BEING FILLED WITH THE AHRIMANIC [DEMONIC] SPIRIT WHICH WANTS THEM TO FORM SUCH IDEAS.
We should not fool ourselves, for we are faced with a quite specific movement. At the Council of Constantinople it was decreed that the spirit did not exist; it was dogmatically stated that the human being consisted only of body and soul, and it was heresy to speak of a human spirit. IN THE SAME WAY ATTEMPTS WILL BE MADE TO DECREE THE SOUL, THE INNER LIFE, AS NONEXISTENT.
The time will come — and it may not be far off — when quite different tendencies will come up at a congress like the one held in 1912 [In 1912 a science called eugenetics was established in London] and people will say: It is pathological for people to even think in terms of spirit and soul. ‘Sound’ people will speak of nothing but the body. IT WILL BE CONSIDERED A SIGN OF ILLNESS FOR ANYONE TO ARRIVE AT THE IDEA OF ANY SUCH THING AS A SPIRIT OR A SOUL. PEOPLE WHO THINK LIKE THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED TO BE SICK AND — YOU CAN BE QUITE SURE OF IT — A MEDICINE WILL BE FOUND FOR THIS.

“There are the forces and beings that are interested in maintaining the falsehoods they have created in the world of the Ignorance and in putting them forward as the Truth which men must follow. In India they are termed Asuras, Rakshasas, Pishachas who are in opposition to the Gods, the Powers of Light.
These too are Powers, for they too have their cosmic field in which they exercise their function and authority and some of them were once divine Powers who have fallen towards the darkness by revolt against the divine Will behind the cosmos.
Their main characteristic is egoistic strength and struggle, which refuses the higher law. The Asura has self control, intelligence, but all that for the sake of his ego.
Be it well noted, with the error of the Asura, the Titan, who lives in his own inordinately magnified shadow, mistakes ego for the self and spirit and tries to impose his fragmentary personality as the one dominant existence upon all his surroundings.
Some kinds of Asuras are very religious, very fanatical about their religion, very strict about rules of ethical conduct. Others of course are just the opposite. There are others who use spiritual ideas without believing in them...
The Asura and Rakshasa hold this evolving earthly nature and have to be met and conquered on their own terms in their own long-conquered fief and province.
They are powerful in a world of ignorance for they have only to persuade people to follow the established bent of their lower nature, while the Divine always calls for a change of nature.
Assuming names divine they guide and rule.
Opponents of the Highest they have come
Out of their world of soulless thought and power
To serve by enmity the cosmic scheme.
Night is their refuge and strategic base.
Against the sword of Flame, the luminous Eye,
Bastioned they live in massive forts of gloom, Calm and secure in sunless privacy:
No wandering ray of Heaven can enter there.
Armoured, protected by their lethal masks,
As in a studio of creative Death
The giant sons of Darkness sit and plan
The drama of the earth, their tragic stage.
All who would raise the fallen world must come Under the dangerous arches of their power;
For even the radiant children of the gods
To darken their privilege is and dreadful right.
None can reach heaven who has not passed through hell.”
