Support your friends even if they're doing something you like, even if you think it's silly. Like people's pictures because they look happy them, tell them that they look good on their worst days, remind them of their reasons. Tell them that they look lighter, that even though they haven't changed, the bags under their eyes are gone. Share their artwork, share their writings, encourage them to do more, to improvise, to create, to discover, to be kind, to be compassionate, to be empathetic, to be good Support people you don't know, smile to your neighbors on your good days because they might smile back on your bad ones, tell the waitress that her hair looks lovely, tell your mother that her hair looks lovely. Hug your parents, hug your siblings, look at people with kinder eyes, because yes no one needs validation from others to be who they are, but sometimes people need reassurance, and maybe if we gave that more often, we'd have a much kinder world.
