It is good to have things convenient within fifteen minutes of your home. Elected politicians and especially unelected civil servants and bureaucrats have absolutely no mandate to do this.

PLEASE NOTE official policy QHSN11 of Dublin City Council: To promote the realisation of the 15-minute city which provides for liveable, sustainable urban neighbourhoods and villages throughout the city that deliver healthy placemaking, high quality housing and well designed, intergenerational and accessible, safe and inclusive public spaces served by local services, amenities, sports facilities and sustainable modes of public and accessible transport where feasible.

No mention of restrictions for leaving your area or the fines and punishments you could suffer for violating your permitted allowance. Is it that people would revolt?
