We used to say 'แˆ…แ‹ญแ‹ˆแ‰ต แŠ แˆแŒ‹ แ‰ฃแˆแŒ‹ แŠ“แ‰ต' as an affirmation years ago... They told us to repeat it over and over until it happens or manifests. I know most of you are familiar with this. Well, now I've spent most of my life in bed because of CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). So, I guess the manifestation worked ๐Ÿ˜.

Just kidding ๐Ÿคฃit's not because of the affirmation. Sometimes, life just throws challenges at you. But seriously, be mindful of what you tell yourself.

And hey, don't even think about saying you started reading because you couldn't do anything else ๐Ÿ˜”. Iโ€™ll hear you!

here another, I was at this session a while back, and the trainer asked us, "Do you wanna live like 'แŒจแ‰กแ‹ด แ‹ณแ‹ด'?"

We all looked at each other, like, "Whoโ€™s แŒจแ‰กแ‹ด แ‹ณแ‹ด?"

The trainer smiled and went on:

We all cracked up ๐Ÿ˜‚ and were like, "No way!"

But then it made me think... Are we living a "แŒจแ‰กแ‹ด แ‹ณแ‹ด" life? Is it really a problem, or are we just stuck in a loop without even knowing it?

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov Arrested in France

Pavel Durov, CEO of Telegram, was arrested by French police at an airport near Paris. He faces charges related to the app's alleged failure to curb criminal activities. Durov, a Russian-born billionaire with dual UAE and French citizenship, has drawn criticism from Russian officials, who have condemned the arrest.

Telegram, which Durov founded in 2013, has faced past bans in Russia over data privacy issues.

You know so many of our favorite snacks and foods are packed with sugar, fat, and salt? Itโ€™s not by accident. These ingredients are deliberately added to make them irresistibly addictive.

Even though we know these treats arenโ€™t great for our health, We keep reaching for them, unable to stop, because weโ€™ve become junkies of these products. Itโ€™s both sad and frustrating to realize that our snacks have become hidden drugs, ensnaring us without us fully recognizing it.

I mean, I donโ€™t eat such foods nowadays because of health issues, but stay away from them as much as you can. You often only realize the damage once youโ€™ve already suffered from it.

Please Read to the End Itโ€™s Short!

Most of us want to read, but it can be tough to keep going. The first time can be exhausting, and getting books can be a challenge especially with their high prices and the endless options. It's hard to know which book to buy next, or even if we're truly understanding and applying what we read when we do it alone, chasing book after book.

That's why we've created a new book club on Telegram a space to read, reflect, and connect. Let's help each other grow together, sharing insights and thoughts on the books we love. We're just starting small, but with your support, we can make a big impact on everyone who wants to read and reflect.

Join our Telegram group (https://t.me/ReadReflectHub), become a member, and share anything you love about a book. And don't forget to share this with your friends letโ€™s build something great together!

If life is full of possibilities, why is it so hard to find something worth living for? Shouldnโ€™t we already be living the life thatโ€™s worth it, or are we just living what can be lived?

Give me what ever answer you might think of

Why do we search for inspiration when we should already know what we want? What's the point of being inspired if itโ€™s supposed to guide us? We donโ€™t need maps and guides for life because weโ€™re supposed to create our own path. But how do we do that if we're not even sure we can? And if we can't create it, why even try? Are we just following what others do, mimicking what we see and hear? It feels like a vicious cycle.

So, what's the real point of all this?

where do you choose to go?

"We choose to go to the moon .... not because they are easy, but because they are hard.

Because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that weโ€™re willing to accept. One we are unwilling to postpone. And therefore, as we set sail, we ask Godโ€™s blessing on the most hazardous and dangerous and greatest adventure that man has ever gone. "

I used to be pretty good at giving training sessions and presentations in Amharic. I wasn't perfect, but I was involved in various associations and communities it wasnโ€™t a big deal. I was also a Mastercard Scholar and went through a lot of training sessions, so it came naturally. But hereโ€™s the thing, I want to start giving training sessions in English now, and Iโ€™m not as confident about it. Like many Ethiopians, the language barrier is real for me.

So, I decided to challenge myself by doing 1-hour straight training sessions in English. I pick a topic, list out some key points, and spend a few minutes on each for the entire hour.

๐Ÿ˜‚ After recording, I listen back, and honestly, if I started posting these, youโ€™d probably think, 'What the f*** is going on with him?' It sounds like I have some kind of speaking problem! But you know what? I think itโ€™s a good idea. Maybe you should try it too!

I remember a sweet Amharic teacher from my elementary school. One day, she said, "แŠ แŒฅแ‰ฅแ‰† แŒ แ‹ซแ‰‚ แ‹จแŠ“แ‰ฑแŠ• แˆžแ‰ต แ‹ญแˆญแ‹ณแˆ...". I was puzzled and asked, "But isnโ€™t it good to know? Shouldnโ€™t we ask?" She looked at me with a smile and said, "Yes, but that's not the way to learn how your mother died. Sometimes, itโ€™s better not to ask too much."

I want to relate this to decision-making. We often feel the motive to gather every little detail before making a decision, believing that the more we know, the better we can choose. But in reality, as we accumulate more and more information, we often end up feeling overwhelmed and confused, unable to decide at all.

Have you ever been in a new environment where people bombard you with so much information that you just want to stop listening altogether? The more you know, the harder it becomes to make a decision.

I once read that when making decisions, you should avoid deciding with less than 30% of the information, but also not strive to gather more than 70%.

The sweet spot for decision-making lies between 40% and 70% of the information available. Anything less and youโ€™re likely to be uninformed; anything more, and you might find yourself drowning in details, unable to decide.

I just read this

'A stopped clock is right twice a day, but a clock that loses just 1 second a year is right only once every 43,200 years. So it's better to quit than to be a little bit behind.'

But hey, donโ€™t take it too seriously we're not clocks, right? ๐Ÿ˜‚
