📣 Tidal partners with Coinversation Protocol to provide Insurance for Synthetic Assets

🧪 Coinversation Protocol is the first synthetic asset issuance protocol and decentralized contract trading exchange based on the Polkadot contract chain.

It uses the CTO token, issued by Coinversation Protocol, and Polkadot (DOT) as collateral, and synthesizes any cryptocurrencies or stocks, bonds, gold and any other off-chain assets through smart contracts and oracles.

🤝 Through this new partnership, Tidal provides insurance services for synthetic assets. With Coinversation, users are also able to convert minted assets, such as those previously described, into other assets by using their trading platform.

Tidal will increase the security of users and their protocol usage by offering insurance, making the Coinversation ecosystem itself more secure.

🔐 To further enhance the safety of the overall system, we went through an system update of the staking pool.

We noticed that most users still have their assets staked in the old pool and need to go through 14 days to withdraw.

🌊 To solve this issue, unstake from the old staking pool, then allow 24 hours from the time of the new pool launch. Even you see pending XX days, all the pending withdrawals will automatically go back to your wallet in less than 24 hours. If you haven’t withdrawn yet, please do it soon.

And make up to the users who need to wait, we will distribute totally 720,000 TIDAL to all users that had TIDAL in the old pool when the mining rewards stopped, which is the same amount being rewarded to the new staking pool (you will automatically received TIDAL reward in your wallet)

The cover mining program has successfully bootstrapped 1 million in USDC reserve within less than 2 weeks since launch, currently earning at ~170% APR. A giant thanks to our early supporters who contributed to the reserve pool. As the first reward period comes to an end on the 29th of August, we decided to extend the reward program with a few updates: 🚀🚀🚀

1️⃣ A New USDC reserve pool will open for deposit on the 29th, and the reward amount will be boosted by 20%.

2️⃣ Guarantor pools will be open to support the USDC reserve pool, and to further engage protocol teams with their community.

3️⃣ There will be no cap for deposit. The current 1 million deposit cap is currently set as a security precaution.

4️⃣ New UI/UX to enhance reserve providers’ user experience.
