New Zealand CPI just out and recorded a high not seen for almost ten (10) years. $ES_F $ES little soft now due to this news . Now 4452. Few levels on downside of interest are 4426 and 4406. Chinese GDP set to be released in few hours. $NIO $VIPS $KWEB $BABA

Good morning traders:

1. Nightly action is inconclusive and doesn’t present an edge to either bears or bulls

2. This may turn out to be a balanced day

3. Levels of interest are 4426 amd 4460.

4. Now 4443.

MARA stock which way gave at 48 is now 52, I expect it to be very active today along with the likes of $RIOT $MSTR etc

Brand new buys here are tricky because with first ever #bitcoin ETF #bito being launched at 40 dollars apiece, there will be an ample opportunity for liquidity and take profits.

I do think #bitcoin itself could use a pullback here now 63000. We have been bullish on #btc from 29K handle. My LIS has been around 44-47K on this.

S&P500 is quite perky overnight.

It will be hard to dislodge this sentiment, unless and until we offer below Friday highs of 4472. This is also the SOC from September and therefore an important level.

Now 4490. ON highs are at 4505. Beyond that my current target of 4535.

Pretty meh 😑 so far ..

Was expecting more fireworks 💥 tbh

Still not IB over yet so will give it another 20-30 minutes

Traders:

Few thoughts on cash open today 10/21:

1. Event risk heavy night in Asia and elsewhere

2. Technically no significant movements in S&P500

3. Few key stocks like TSLA have been weak but not as much I would like, at one point falling almost below 850 now inching higher

4. These current levels in S&P500 do not arouse my interest . However traders are watching the cash session gap at 4486-4495 if it trades and holds. My opinion is it will hold, atleast today, if it gets there . But let’s find out! Now 4522.

Free trade plan 10/22:

1. Weekly target ~ 4535 is now achieved and found sellers .

2. For tomorrow Friday, I have 2 key hypothesis :

A) open at or below 4496, trap some buyers on move up to 4510 and then single time frame down into 4440.

B) Bid or open above 4535, take out 4556-4560 , consolidate for a move into 4600

3. Now 4525

Beer 🍺 marker $SAM reports earnings today. I do like the stock at 500. I think it’s oversold. LIS remains ~$420.

Just noticed SNAP also reports today. Good support at 66-68, now $75.

$FB may be the next shoe 👠 to drop. They report on the 25th. $SNAP wrecked, they are blaming AAPL iOS changes for destroying their ad business.

Now $320.

Shorts 🩳 are not favored for me rn as long as remain above 4535. See yesterdays plan for levels and context. Now 4542.

Since every one is talking TSLA non-stop on Twitter 🛑, here’s my play on TSLA:

1. If we close tomorrow above $1040-1044, I believe TSLA trades 1200 next.

2. If we close tomorrow below 1020-1024, I would think we gotta go test that $830-$850 again.

3. Now $1025.

Late after noon weakness. Could turn to rout if we trade below VAL 4570-4573 handles. Now 4580.

Traders 64-65 seems to provide support this morning.

If it holds we may test 82-85.

Now 71.

65 was a good bounce, now ~ 73.

It’s a key 🔐 level and shouldn’t fold. Else we have 47-50 handle support zone beckon below. Refer to my substack below 👇
