EdTech Hackathon in Gyumri

From November 8 to 10, Impact Hub Gyumri hosted a 3-day EdTech hackathon organized by Impact Hub Yerevan and Garage48.

The hackathon aimed to give the youth the opportunity to advance the education sector through tech and get acquainted with startup culture.

Participants also received mentorship from successful Armenian and Estonian founders. The top teams got a total of €4,000 in prizes:

- 1st place: "Get Skills"
- 2nd place: "TeachUp"
- 3rd place: "Paros"

Yesterday, ServiceTitan filed for an initial public offering (IPO) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The company plans to list its shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker ‘TTAN.’

Founded in 2012 by first-generation Diaspora Armenians Ara Mahdessian and Vahe Kuzoyan, ServiceTitan is a California-based cloud platform specializing in software solutions for trade businesses, particularly contractors in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services.

ServiceTitan, valued at $9.5 billion following its 2021 funding round, has more than 12,000 customers and more than 3500 employees across Glendale, Atlanta, and Yerevan.
