Hayatar is an open-source and privacy-respecting Armenian keyboard for iOS. It is made by an Armenian typer for Armenian typers to fit the beautiful Armenian language and feel native to iOS.

It comes with three main keyboard layouts:
- Phonetic
- Western
- Typewriter

The keyboard supports spellcheckers for modern and classical Armenian orthography. It lets you customize the keyboard and sync your preferences via iCloud, to seamlessly use the keyboard on all your iOS and iPadOS devices.

AWS unveils Build, a new program for early-stage startups from around the globe.

AWS is accepting applications till September 22, 2023.

The 10-week-long program starts on October 9, 2023 with the goal of getting pre-seed startups to successfully launch a minimum viable product by the program’s end on December 15, 2023.

AWS plans to accept a cohort of 500 companies from around the world in all regions AWS operates.

The founders who participate will receive up to $2,000 in AWS credits. Neither AWS nor Amazon will be taking any equity stake in the companies that participate.

To apply to AWS Build, applicants must join AWS Activate. They must also already have a technical lead or cofounder who can take full advantage of the highly technical lessons offered through AWS Build.

Successful graduates of the program will be eligible for other AWS Accelerator programs as they mature and grow, which introduces them to venture capitalists (VCs) and customers.

Global Entrepreneurship Network's new Startup Huddle chapter is launched in in Yerevan. The chapter will be hosted and organized by Nejdeh Hovanessian, the Assistant Director at Entrepreneurship and Product Innovation Center (EPIC) of American University of Armenia (AUA). Yerevan joins a global network of more than 60 Startup Huddle chapters worldwide and will host its first event on September 29, 2023.

At each Startup Huddle event, local founders give six-minute presentations outlining challenges facing their companies. Each presentation is followed by a 20-minute conversation with an audience of peers, mentors, educators, and advisers who provide constructive criticism focused on finding solutions and increasing founder know-how. With new founders cycling through each gathering, and previous presenters joining the audience to give back, the community continues to expand while connections deepen.
