- Executive summaries should contain information that will help the ventures to clearly articulate their mission, product, market and future.
- Business plans should include financial information, such as projections for 3-5 years, revenue model, etc.
- All the submitted documents must be in English.

Only short-listed companies will be invited to the pitching session.

- minimum aggregate investment size to be considered shall be US $25,000

The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia announces the start of a grant competition for the “Idea Stage” component within the framework of the “From Idea to Business” 2023 grant program.

As part of the program, it is planned to provide funding in the form of grants to start-up companies at the idea stage, whose ideas for products and/or services are aimed at creating new values in the field of high technologies and / or solving current problems and challenges using technology.

It is planned to provide up to 5M AMD ($13K USD) to each company that won the competition.

Instigate announced that the company signed a contract with microelectronics manufacturer giant Microchip Technology Inc. to sell 100% of its subsidiary Instigate Semiconductor to Microchip.

This is a result of a long-term cooperation started 3 years ago aiming to build an FPGA company in Armenia that will later be sold to Microchip. The subsidiary company Instigate Semiconductor was created on August 3, 2020 having 8 employees. Within the last 3 years the company launched its R&D centers across Armenia, including Vanadzor, Gyumri and Ijevan growing its team size to 47 engineers.

Microchip is gearing up for further expansion and covering a broad range of areas, including Application Engineering, Customer Support, Embedded Systems Programming, IP Verification.

Microchip is a $45 billion capitalization company and a global leader of microelectronics manufacturing.
