Earlier today, President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received serial entrepreneur Adam Kablanian, Managing Partner of the S-Unik Investment Fund.
Adam Kablanian was honored with the Medal of Gratitude as a recognition of his lasting contribution to the development of Armeniaโs high-tech industry.
Some of Adam's achievemnets:
- He co-founded and led Virage Logic in 1996, which went public on NASDAQ in 2000 and grew to 700+ employees (now part of Synopsys).
- He later led other deep-tech ventures, including PlasmaSi (OLED encapsulation), Cynora GmbH (TADF OLED materials).
- Heโs not only tech: In 2017 he founded Alexandrea Winery in Armenia, blending heritage and innovation in viticulture.
Gratitude to Adam for all his contribution to the development of the Armenian high-tech ecosystem!

Deep-Tech Founders: EIC Pathfinder Deadline Is Approaching!
The European Innovation Council (EIC) is inviting research teams and deep-tech startups to apply for EIC Pathfinder 2025, funding instrument supporting science and breakthrough innovation.
This is a grant funding opportunity of โฌ300K to โฌ500K to support early stage development of future technologies.
The grant will cover 70 % of eligible cost of the project. The remaining 30% should be co-funded by the beneficiary through its own resources.
Applicants must demonstrate:
- high-impact innovation that could create new markets or disrupt existing ones (at least TRL 4);
- ownership of the Intellectual Property Rights to ensure freedom to operate and adequate protection of the idea;
- a clear vision on the intended pathway to market (milestones together with concrete and verifiable KPIs to assess progress towards the market);
- the ambition and commitments to scale up.
