As an artist, I'm more interested in how AI can fail interestingly, than in how it can be used to replace people and processes. Artists throughout time have leveraged and manipulated machines and technologies to create surprising and subversive results that go against intended uses. I think most AI art is offensively boring because it's just generating inferior copies of beautiful artwork. I'd like to see more deliberately ugly seams and glitches and failures that highlight the ways in which AI is not human and not the utopia its makers are marketing it as."
