تستخدم  there are عندما يكون الاسم جمع ويتم معرفة الاسم جمع من خلال الترجمة او من خلال وجود الادوات التالية :

.  يكون موقعها قبل الاسم
(many , some , a few , lots of )

EX: ( There is / There are ) lots of problems to discuss .

النفي Negative
نستخدم كلمة not بعد الافعال المساعدة is/ are

EX: There are plants in the store . (Negative)

There are not plants in the store .

الاستفهام Question
نقدم الفعل المساعد على الفاعل وثم نكمل الجملة ونضع علامة الاستفهام في نهايتها

EX: There are some restaurant here . (Question)

Are there any restaurant here ?

Short Answer الاجوبة القصيرة
  هنالك حالتين للجواب :
Yes , there are
No , there aren’t



EX: Are there any children in your family ?  (Short Answer)

Yes , there are .  /  No , there aren’t .

نأتي doesn't نضعها بعد الفاعل
و نحول has الى have

نأتي Does في بداية الجملة
و نحول has الى have

EX: It has a sweet shop . (Question)
