Testimony Tuesday
Sometimes when I am preparing for the next testimony Iβll come across a subject that truly speaks to my heart in a way Iβve never considered before.
There have been times I felt frustrated with God because I feel like Heβs not seeing what is going on or hearing my prayers.
If weβre honest with ourselves, I think we are all guilty of praying based on how we feel rather than what we know, especially if we have been praying for something for a very long time.
Frustration begins to surface.
Hope begins to fade.
Perhaps fear sets in.
But what if we changed our perspective about how we pray?
And more importantly our attitude of our prayers. In other words how we posture those prayersβ¦from fear to acknowledging who God is.
This is what I knowβ¦
God can handle our frustration.
I know that He hears me, even when it seems like He doesnβt.
He knows the end from the beginning.
And, He sees everything.
He is still good.
Also, remember that olβ devil wants us to place feelings over facts, and fear over faith.
We just need to flip those tables upside down, and do the opposite.
Todayβs video gave me a new perspective in how I pray going forward.
I pray this blessed you like it did for me.
βOh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.β

ππΌ This remind me of last's post about This Presence Darkness changing my prayer life.
It's crucial to understand these pearls of wisdom that the LORD brings to our attention -if we're paying attention will deepen our relationship with Him.
Prayer does not need to be long or complicated. It requires honesty. And gratefulness.
Prayer is a conversation between those who love one another.

Paula and I are excited to share this next series with you because it is so valuable to us. And because itβs a such a valuable component in our lives, I believe itβs why God is now harvesting the idea He planted in our hearts.
Prayer is powerful.
It sets foot in Heaven and shakes the earth. Itβs a weapon that pierces a heart of stone and disperses Darkness. It changes the trajectory of nations, brings miraculous healing, mends the hopelessness, and makes Love known.
There is something else on par with prayer.
Praise and worship.
It crumbles impenetrable walls and defeats an army. Itβs a shout of effervescence after a miracle. It fills you with gloriousness and affection for The Creator.
Itβs the topic of this series.
Please join us on the 15th and 30th of the month as we embark on this journey of discovering how to connect with the One we love most.

The Harp and The Horn
Discovering the Power of Praise and Worship
When you think of worshipping the Lord what is the first thing that comes to your mind?
Hands raised singing loud praises to the Lord?
On your knees giving thanks to the Lord?
Crying out to the Lord in reverence and humility?
Shouting and jumping uninhibited unto the Lord in joy?
Praying and supplication to the Lord?
Sacrificing your time in the community before the Lord?
Lamenting or calling out before the Lord?
Praising God amidst suffering?
A weapon used to combat the enemies assaults?
Obedience to the Lordβs commands?
Yielding and submitting to Godβs will?
Surrendering your heart to God?
What if I told you all of the above are forms of worship and praise to the Lord.
Worship isnβt just Sunday morning church band and the congregation singing praise songs.
It is so much more.
You will never look at worship the same way again.

What exactly is praise and worship?
We may tend to think of praise and worship as synonyms β¦ itβs hard to praise the Lord without worship and vice versa. They are both connected as an expression of honor and glory towards God.
You praised the Lord, and sang songs in church, and gave thanks. It is something we Christians do because we believe God alone is worthy of both. And it feels good to praise and worship the Lord.
I never really gave much thought about what it really means to praise and worship our Lord. The power it holds to change the atmosphere is beyond comprehension. It boils down to the connection we have with God.
Why do we do it?
What is the difference between the two?
These are two simple questions that we will cover today and also the meaning of praise and worshipping the Lord and why.
Praise: Is given for what God has done. It is a joyful recounting of what He has done and is doing for us in our lives and others.
Worship: Is given for who He is. It comes from deep within our spirit. It is reserved for God alone.
And, yes the two can overlap with thanksgiving and gratitude. It all goes hand in hand.
