"A conduit for soul smiles"

The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.

In a quiet moment beneath the heavens, Jesus knelt and prayed—not out of weakness, but in perfect communion with His Father.

Heavenly Communication is a reminder that prayer connects heaven and earth. It is where burdens are lifted, strength is renewed, and hearts are heard.

If the Savior—perfect and divine—sought strength through prayer, how much more do we need that same sacred connection in our own lives?

Let this piece remind you: you are never out of reach. Heaven hears you. God is listening.

GOD WORKS THE NIGHTSHIFT

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, ... He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber, indeed, he who watches …will neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121). Rest well tonight my friends.

Have you heard the old Cherokee legend that describes how boys become men? The father took the son to the forest, blindfolded him, and left him sitting on a tree stump. The boy was required to sit there all night, not removing the blindfold until he saw the rays of the morning sun. He was not to cry out for help from anyone.

Once he survived the night, he was considered a man by the tribe. He could not tell anyone of the experience because each boy had to come into manhood on his own. Throughout the night he could hear the noises of the forest and wild animals. But he had to sit unmoving and not touch his blindfold. Finally, after a long night, the sun appeared, and he removed his blindfold. In that moment he then discovered his dad had been sitting nearby all along. The father had been at watch the entire time, protecting his son.

God the Father watches over us when things go bump in the night.

"Let someone love you just the way you are .... as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room."
