Adolf Hitler and private planes.
Adolf Hitler had two primary private planes, a Junkers Ju 52/3m which he used from 1933 and a Focke-Wulf Fw 200 from 1939.
Hitler is considered the first modern politician to use air travel for campaigns rather then a train like most other politicians at the time.
His private pilot was Hans Baur, who began his aviation career as a flying ace in World War I, later on becoming Hitler's personal pilot and leader of the Reichsregierung squadron.
