This unusual trend is most likely a response to the World Economic Forum’s 2030 goal of “you will own nothing and be happy.” There are growing online movements, like Right to Repair, which seek to bring attention to the renter economy we live in and provide solutions.
Bottom line is if you can’t fix it, can’t sell it, can’t use it any way you want to, you don’t own it.
