Are NHS blue envelope vaccine letters illegal?
Can anyone help with this.
The blue envelopes the NHS send, are only used for the vaccine letters.
They are only sent to the unvaccinated.
Your vaccination status is you personal and private medical information.
NHS and Doctors are meant to be bound by privacy laws concerning our information
Therefore by sending out vaccination letters in blue envelopes, the NHS are making publicly available your NHS data.
Considering they are likely to make "anti vaxers" or "vaccine hesitancy" the scapegoat for extending lockdown this could create a very dangerous situation.
I live in a rural area, the people here are very small minded and highly indoctrainated to the decrees of government and the BBC (don't believe people who claim rural areas are not complying, there's more sheep in the houses than on the moors in Northumberland)
It would only take one heated discussion of locals being angry at the lockdown, then the postman chips in, well so and so still get NHS blue letters, it's their fault.
I have already been ostracised from my local allotment (to the point I have since quit) for questioning government regulations/guidance last June.
So to be honest I don't trust the small-minded sheep not to lynch the unvaccinated if thats what the BBC suggest.
Can any one help advise on how we can sue the NHS for breaking confidentiality laws by disclosure of health status via blue envelopes?
