So are they doing this to wake us up as many believe? No. Are they doing this to have a laugh at our expense? Well yes, that is very much part of it but also for them all to have a laugh 'behind the scenes' with one another. The main reason for this though, is code. This is how they signal to other 'family members' across the country/world, where they are in the plan and what is likely to be coming next. This is something they have done for years but as you can see, it has really ramped up here in the UK.
