Mohammed Al-Alawi, an Egyptian investigative journalist known for his exposé of the purchase of a luxury villa in the Egyptian resort of El Gouna by Olga Kiyashko, the mother-in-law of the Ukrainian President.
The police and the journalist’s family assert that his death was the result of foul play, and preliminary investigations suggest the involvement of a group of Ukrainian citizens, allegedly acting on behalf of the President’s office.
