Clauses to be concerned about:-
Paragraph 235 - energy smart appliances are defined and include fridges, dishwashers, washers, heaters, air conditioners and electric vehicle charge points.
The paragraph goes on to state that the smart function of such appliances is “capable of operating in response to load control signals from any person carrying out load control.” This means that the Govt can hand control of smart domestic appliances to anyone they wish to carry out load control. "Load Control" is the ability to switch your smart appliances defined above off at will when THEY choose.
Paragraphs 230 and 231 - "heat zones" and how zones will be enforced. Like we see elsewhere in the bill penalties can be levied for non-compliance. What are "heat zones" and what kind of penalties are we talking about?
Paragraph 246 - powers for the Secretary of State to make regulations enabling or requiring energy usage or energy efficiency of premises to be assessed, certified or publicised; enabling or requiring improvements to energy usage or energy efficiency to be identified and recommended.
Restrictions or prohibition on the marketing and disposal of premises on the basis of whether energy usage or efficiency has been assessed, certified or publicised.
Sanctions - 12 months prison and £15,000 fine for non compliance, as we have previously discussed.
Coming next. The treasonous MPs that voted the bill through with no amendments.

"Many local authorities could issue a section 114 notice in the next two financial years, according to a Special Interest Group of Municipal Authorities (Sigoma)".
A survey of the 47 local authorities the organisation represents revealed that 5 are currently in the process of deciding whether to issue a section 114 notice as a result of not being able to balance their annual budget in 2023-24.
A further 9 councils said they might have to declare bankruptcy next year, with Sigoma stating that "at least 12 other councils across the country were also considering issuing a section 114 notice in 2023/24".
Don't forget that Thurrock has already declared bankruptcy and got granted permission to raise its Council tax by 10% to cover funding shortfalls. Yesterday Birmingham City Council issued a s114 notice.

Coventry City Council
West Berkshire Council
Bradford Council Middlesbrough Council
Kirklees Council
Guildford
Hastings
Southampton
Kent county council
Stoke on Trent council
Britain is collapsing. Local councils have no money left and yet were content to spend what they did have on woke projects such as Drag Queen story hour and rainbow zebra crossings.
No doubt they will want the people of this great nation to now cover shortfalls. They can get to fuck. It's time to say no.
Not one council leader is ever held to account for bankruptcy, meaning that they can throw away public money, our money, and never face any penalties. Enough is enough.
