The FTX Crypto Crook was sliming his way into media influence by funding media outlets with millions of dollars.

He paid for news coverage on covid, biosecurity, pandemic preparation, bio-lab safety, "technological and innovation bottlenecks that hamper human progress", and monitoring systems to identify emerging pandemics. He was also an initial investor in a news startup run by the former editor of Buzzfeed, the one who published the infamous Russia Hoax pee dossier.

It is a mechanism we are all familiar with: agents of the corruptocracy laundering stolen money to prop up other parts of the system.
