Bug Out Bags can easily become disorganized and over weight. This video shows how I use colored zippered canvas bags for organizing the small items in my B.O.B. to help force me to slim down the items that are stored in this important emergency preparedness kit. https://odysee.com/@theurbanprepper:e/bug-out-bag-modular-organization:b
My kids LOVE to watch "trick shot" videos, like the ones made by Dude Perfect. Since I have a Preppers channel, I wanted to do a special video called "Prepper Trick Shots" that features some family fun using various Prepper items as props. https://odysee.com/@theurbanprepper:e/prepper-trick-shots:2
Today's SHORT tutorial video quickly discusses a simple power outage lighting hack that you can do using a common outdoor item in a dual purpose way. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/GN57ISJDoK4
Quick question: Do people who live in tornado regions Bug Out or Bug In (e.g., underground tornado shelter) if a tornado is approaching their home?
What would you do during each of these 30 emergency scenarios? Would you leave your home and “Bug Out” (e.g., evacuate)? Or would you shelter in place and “Bug In”? Discuss this as a family to have a game plan in place! https://odysee.com/@theurbanprepper:e/bug-in-or-bug-out-30-emergency-scenarios:0
WOW! Thank you EVERYONE for helping me reach 200k subscribers on YouTube! I can't believe I've been on YouTube for 10 years and now I've passed 200,000 subscribers. I couldn't have done it with all of your support and encouragement over the years. I am really proud of reaching this milestone doing the specific type of nerdy, OCD prepping content that I seem to specialize in. It might not be the most popular but it's true to who I am. I used to think that I didn't fit in with the Preparedness mold, but over the years I've been so blessed to learn that there are thousands of other Nerdy Preppers around the world just like me. Thank you everyone, THANK YOU! ~Cliff
I am working on improving my "In Case of an Emergency" binder and wanted to have it protected from fire. I purchased a few different Fireproof Document Bags, but I wanted to see if they would actually work in a fire, so I decided to test them out and make a video. Hopefully this video will help you with your purchase decision of a fireproof document bag for your important documents and cash. https://odysee.com/@theurbanprepper:e/fireproof-document-bags-do-they-actually:3
What kind of video(s) would you like me to feature as an Alt-Tech exclusive (e.g., doesn't appear on YouTube but does on Bitchute, Odysee, Rumble, etc)?
I've been getting a lot of questions about something I mentioned in yesterday's "100 Home Depot Preps" video in regard to cleaning gravestones as a hobby. I made a video about this hobby a few years back, for those that are interested in learning more about it. I volunteer for local cemeteries to clean the gravestones of children who passed away 100+ years ago. I get a lot of enjoyment out of restoring these gravestones, as I am a parent myself and I'd like to think that the parents of these children would appreciate me taking the time to bring their child's monument back to life after being unkept for so many decades. I hope that you enjoy this video! https://odysee.com/@theurbanprepper:e/cleaning-cemetery-monuments-ft-d-2:e
Here's a DIY Short video on how to make a Cat Food Can Alcohol Stove. I've uploaded it on my backup channel, GotPreps. It's a great little ultralight stove that you can easily include in your bug out bag or other evacuation kits for boiling water. Enjoy! https://odysee.com/@theurbanprepper:e/CatFoodCanStove:c
Be Prepared
Bugging Out doesn’t always mean going out into the woods, Rambo style. If possible, it might just be to a nearby Motel that is away from the immediate danger. Here's what's in my "Motel GO Bag". https://odysee.com/@theurbanprepper:e/what's-in-my-motel-go-bag:c
