The #iPhone 17 series likely brings a new camera design.
The current design of iPhone cameras has remained unchanged since 2019, when iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max were released. However, this is about to change.
Leaker Majin Bu shared a photo of prototype camera molds that match up with renders shared earlier by Jon Prosser. The new camera arrangement is more similar to Google's Pixel line that previous iPhones.
However, this is a prototype, and the final iPhone 17 series might have a different design. Notably, Mark Gurman, known for revealing details about upcoming Apple products on Bloomberg, said that Prosser's render is based on a fake sketch.
CAD renders of cases for iPhone 17 Air and Pro were shared too. iPhone 17 Air is a rumored thinner model that will launch alongside the other iPhone 17 series phones.

Meet the budget friendly #iPhone 16e.
This is the successor of the iPhone SE from 2022, bringing a new design. iPhone 16e has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a notch and Face ID, replacing the older bezel design of iPhone SE.
It has an A18 chip, just like iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, with a 4-core GPU for demanding AAA games and a 16-core Neural Engine for Apple Intelligence. But, there is also a new chip - Apple C1, the first Apple-designed modem, delivering fast and power-efficient 5G and satellite connectivity.
There is a 48MP Fusion camera. Apple claims that it's 2 cameras in one - a main camera and a 2x telephoto camera.
Pre-orders begin on February 21, and the phones will be available on February 28. iPhone 16e starts at $599 for a 128GB variant.

End of an era: Skype will be discontinued in May 2025.
After a leak in the latest Skype for Windows beta version, #Microsoft made it official: the video calling app is shutting down in May, with users asked to switch to Microsoft Teams.
Skype was launched more than 20 years ago, in 2003, then acquired by Microsoft in 2011. For many people, Skype was the introduction to video calls and video conferencing, long before services like Zoom and FaceTime and video chat features in messaging apps.

Get ready to put lenses on your phone.
This is what #Xiaomi seems to imply by bringing its latest concept phone to #MWC2025. This phone supports a custom modular lens system with its own sensor that attaches magnetically and uses Xiaomi LaserLink to send photos to the phone. This results in stunning photos.
Not to be outdone by Xiaomi, Realme brought a concept phone that supports lenses of its own - only this time, it supports full DSLR lenses.
However, both phones are concepts, not finished products.

#Apple is preparing an entirely new design for its operating systems.
According to Mark Gurman (via Bloomberg), iOS 19 and macOS 16 will bring the biggest design updates since iOS 7 and macOS Big Sur. This is to make the systems more consistent with each other, updating the style of icons, menus, apps, windows and buttons.
But what will the new design look like? Rumors point to it being inspired by visionOS, the OS running on Apple Vision Pro. Notably, earlier this year, Jon Prosser shared the alleged design of the iOS 19 camera app, with a translucent window reminiscent of the windows in the mixed reality OS.
