I'm doing a live blog of the #AppleEvent today.

The cinematography is great, as the 2 other Apple events.

The event starts with the HomePod Mini.

The HomePod Mini has all-custom audio elements for better sound.

It also has the Apple S5 chip.

You can also sync multiple HomePod minis.

You can bring your iPhone close to a HomePod to play music on it, using the U1 chip. (Like Xiaomi demonstrated yesterday)

Support for Pandora and Amazon Music coming soon.

The Home app can now suggest smart home accessories too.

You can also broadcast messages on multiple HomePods and Apple devices, like Google's broadcast feature.

It costs just $99, and you can order it from October 6.

Moving on to iPhone.

As rumored, the next iPhone will support 5G.

Verizon 5G is now available nationwide in the US.

Starting with the regular iPhone 12.

It has a new, flat design, like the iPhone 4.

Super Retina XDR is now on iPhone too.

It also supports Dolby Vision playback

The display glass is now much stronger.

The iPhone 12 can now automatically switch between 5G and LTE.

And, it has the most 5G bands, to support the most countries.
