And if that's not enough, Apple also introduced M4 Pro. It has up to 14 CPU cores. The GPU has up to 20 cores with ray tracing. The Neural Engine is up to 3x faster than M1, and it supports up to 64GB of unified memory. And that translates to real-world performance - Mac mini with M4 Pro renders scenes in Blender up to 2.9x faster than Mac mini with M2 Pro.
The new computers have two USB-C ports and three Thunderbolt ports. M4 Pro supports up to three 6K displays.

These glasses are reportedly similar to the Ray-Ban Meta series (pictured), having no screen. The report claims that they use a Snapdragon AR1 chip - which has already been succeeded by the Snapdragon AR2 Gen 1 - and a co-processor made by NXP. There will also be a 12MP camera which uses the Sony IMX681 sensor, which is the sensor used by the aforementioned Ray-Ban Meta series glasses. The glasses will be powered by a 155mAh battery and will weigh 50 grams.
The glasses, likely running a version of Android, will support mobile payments through QR codes and AI features like gesture control, as well as Google's Gemini.

Chromebooks are popular, with many options available from various manufacturers. However, Google has been strangely absent from this space, releasing its last Chromebook, the Pixelbook Go, in 2019, after the high-end Pixelbook (pictured) was released in 2017. However, that might change soon.
As revealed by Android Headlines, Google is developing a "Pixel Laptop", codenamed "Snowy". Internally it's being compared to high-end laptops like the MacBook Pro, Dell XPS and the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook.
In the meantime, Google is also making major changes to Chrome OS. According to information a source shared with Android Authority, Google is planning to merge it with Android to better compete with the iPad. Steps towards this migration have already been taken on both sides, with Chrome OS starting to use some code from Android and Android getting a Linux terminal app.

As the first announcement in its "12 Days of OpenAI" series, the company released the full version of o1, its reasoning language model that was launched in preview earlier this year. Notably, it gives more accurate and more reliable answers, as shown by the graph comparing its answers in math, code and science. 4/4 reliability means that the model is considered to solve a question if it gets the answer right in four out of four attempts, not just one. It's also more resistant to jailbreaking. o1 is now available to all ChatGPT Plus subscribers.
Alongside it, the company also released ChatGPT Pro. Besides all of the features of ChatGPT Plus, Pro also enables o1 pro mode. o1 pro mode gives the model even more time to think about the answer, with the user getting notified once the answer is done using an in-app notification. As this requires a lot of processing power, it's also more expensive, at $200 per month. However, the company is awarding 10 grants to researchers in the US.

After being announced earlier this year in private beta, Sora is now available to all ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers.
It can generate new videos from a text prompt, as well as generate a video from an image or fill in the missing frames of an existing video. It uses the same recaptioning technique used by DALL-E 3 to extend the user's prompt. Resolutions of up to 1080p and lengths of up to 20 seconds are supported.
