#Samsung announces a stretchable display.
At the IMID 2024 display technology conference, Samsung Display announced a stretchable Micro LED display.
This display can be stretched up to 1.25 times, and will return to its original shape like rubber. Samsung Display demonstrated it by stretching it into the shape of Jeju Island, where IMID 2024 takes place.
Earlier, researchers at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology demonstrated a heart rate monitor with a stretchable OLED display, claiming that users can measure heart rate for longer since it "feels like your skin".
However, it might take a while for consumer products with stretchable displays to be released - for reference, Samsung Display first showed prototypes of flexible displays in 2011, while the first foldable Galaxy phone was released in 2019.

Pavel Durov, the founder of #Telegram, was arrested in Paris.
According to television network TF1, Durov was arrested this Saturday at around 8 PM Paris time when arriving from Azerbaijan to Paris, Le Bourget Airport.
He was under a warrant due to Telegram refusing to cooperate with law enforcement and having features like anonymous numbers and poor moderation, making it an accomplice in drug trafficking, pedocriminal offences and fraud.
This news has already caused the price of the TON crypto currency to drop.

This time, the teaser shows colors used for Siri, hinting at Apple Intelligence features. The iPhone 16 series is rumored to have a "significantly upgraded" Neural Engine and 8GB of RAM on every model to power AI models.
Other features include camera enhancements, a dedicated touch-sensitive Capture button for taking photos and the Action button coming to all iPhone 16 models.
