The headset is powered by Apple's M2 chip with an R1 co-processor. R1 processes data from the headset's TrueDepth cameras and LiDAR (a total of 12 cameras) and shows images on the headset with virtually no latency, reducing motion sickness.

This is #Meta's answer to Twitter.

Screenshots of a new social media app based on Instagram were shared by The Verge. The app is codenamed "Project 92", and might be called "Threads" when it releases. Meta execs call it "our response to Twitter".

The app will be compatible with the ActivityPub decentralized social media protocol, which is already used by several federated social networks like Mastodon and Pixelfed.

Meta chief product officer Chris Cox said that the company will be making the app available "as soon as we can", and that celebrities like DJ Slime are committed to using the app. The social media company is in discussions with other celebrities like TV host Oprah Winfrey and the Dalai Lama regarding the new app.
End of an era - #Intel is dropping the "i" from the names of its Core processors.

Starting with the Meteor Lake generation, set to be released in the second half of 2023, Intel Core processors will no longer have an "i" in their names - now it's just Intel Core 3, 5 and 7.

Why? According to Intel executives, it's because the name of the processors was often shortened to just the last part (e.g. simply "i7"), leaving out the Intel brand name.

High-end processors with Arc-level integrated graphics, AI capabilities and the "absolute best performance" will be branded as Intel Core Ultra 5, 7 and 9. Additionally, to not confuse customers, the generation is no longer advertised - an example of a new CPU's full name is "Intel Core 5 processor 1050U".
#Galaxy Watch will soon show irregular heart rhythm notifications.

Samsung has recently received medical approval to launch irregular heart rhythm notifications (IHRN). This feature can detect heart rate patterns that indicate atrial fibrillation, a heart health issue that some other smart watches, like the Apple Watch, already detect.

The feature will be launched this summer in Argentina, Azerbaijan, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Georgia, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Panama, UAE, as well as Korea and the U.S. It's coming first to "upcoming Galaxy Watch devices", presumably referring to the Galaxy Watch6 lineup, and then to the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch5 series with One UI Watch 5.
The first official images of the #Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5 have leaked.

Shared by MySmartPrice, the seemingly official renders show the upcoming foldable phones.

The Galaxy Z Fold5 render shows the phone in a light blue color with a new, gapless hinge, showing what looks like the Samsung Notes app.

The Galaxy Z Flip5 renders show 2 black phones with a silver frame. The larger cover display shows a photo and a new music player widget.
