#OpenAI released an official ChatGPT app for iOS.

After ChatGPT's success as a website, numerous unofficial and sometimes malicious apps have appeared on both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.

Now, OpenAI is releasing an official ChatGPT app on the App Store. Users will be able to chat with either ChatGPT or GPT-4 (requires a ChatGPT Plus subscription), and the app supports voice input with the company's Whisper speech recognition AI model. Chat history is also synced between iOS devices and the Web.

An Android version is coming soon.
