Google's Bard chatbot, its answer to ChatGPT, is getting a few updates too. Recently, Google added support for code in 20 programming languages, and it can now run code on Replit as well as Colab.

But, the biggest update to Bard so far is support for tools, including both Google services and third party extensions.

Bard is also now powered by PaLM 2, which features improved logic and reasoning skills.

Besides Bard, another practical use of PaLM 2 are the AI-powered features in Google Workspace, now named "Duet AI for Google Workspace".
