As part of the Galaxy ecosystem the Galaxy Book3 Ultra has exclusive features for other Galaxy devices, like Instant Hotspot...
Alongside the Galaxy Book3 Ultra Samsung revealed the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360...
Pricing and availability. The Galaxy S22 remains in the US Galaxy lineup for 2023 at $699.
At the end of the keynote, a collaboration between Samsung, #Google and #Qualcomm for making next-generation XR devices has been announced.

It is said that the XR devices to come from it will feature a Qualcomm chipset, a special version of Android and be made by Samsung.
The #Galaxy S23 doesn't have satellite connectivity, here's why:

In November, a leak stated that Samsung was partnering with satellite network company Iridium to bring satellite connectivity to the (then upcoming) Galaxy S23 series.

However, when the phones were announced, that feature was absent. In an interview with CNET, Samsung's TM Roh claimed that the technology isn't ready yet, and that "When there is the right timing, infrastructure and the technology [is] ready, then of course for Samsung Galaxy […] we would also actively consider adopting this feature as well".

Between the leak and the announcement of the S23 series Qualcomm, Samsung's processor partner, announced their own Snapdragon Satellite system at CES, which will be available on select phones later this year.

Meet Bard - #Google's answer to ChatGPT.

You probably have heard of #OpenAI's ChatGPT, which has taken the internet by storm. Yesterday Google revealed Bard - a similar chat app powered by it's LaMDA neural network, available now to trusted testers.

Unlike ChatGPT, the training data of which is capped at a specific year, Bard can get information from the web. However, Google still warns that the app might give inaccurate information and offers a "Check it" option.

The company also revealed its plans to integrate its latest AI advancements into products used by millions of people, starting with an AI powered summary feature in Google Search. This feature will "distill complex information and multiple perspectives" into a short summary, instead of a featured snippet. This will be rolling out soon.

Meet the new Bing, powered by #OpenAI.

After Google announced that it's bringing AI powered features to Search, #Microsoft revealed the new Bing, with an AI powered chat feature.

Chat in the new Bing uses an improved version of OpenAI's GPT-3.5, the same neural network powering its famous ChatGPT chatbot. Instead of searching, users can ask a question using Bing's new chat feature, which will suggest a summary based on various websites as well as relevant links.

Some of the examples included asking the neural network to show a list of the most influential Mexican artists or asking a question about how an Ikea sofa can fit in a car.

The feature is currently in a wait list.

Probably the strangest phone on this channel so far: the #Realme 10 Pro Coca-Cola Edition.

After leaking as the "ColaPhone" in January, this soda and smartphone brand collaboration has launched in India. It's available on Realme.com and Flipkart, at a price of ₹20,999.

The phone has a red and white Coca-Cola logo on the back, as well as another logo on the fingerprint sensor and red accents. It runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13, with exclusive Coca-Cola wallpapers and ringtones.

Other than that it's identical to the Realme 10 Pro, with a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, 108MP main and 2MP depth camera and a 5000mAh battery.

Keep your #Instagram audience up-to-date with Broadcast Channels.

The #Meta-owned social network has launched Broadcast Channels, a new one-to-many messaging tool. Channels appear in the chats list, and creators can use them as a quick way to keep followers up-to-date.

To join a creator's channel, you must be subscribed to them, though channels can also be for paid subscribers only. Creators can send text, images and videos, to which followers can react. They can also send polls, in which followers can vote. (Sound familiar?)

This feature is currently being tested with select US creators, like AR content creator Karen Cheng, Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Chloe Kim, martial artist Gilbert Burns and, of course, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

#Meta starts testing paid verification: meet Meta Verified

After Twitter launched Blue with verification (and the flood of impersonation that followed), Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, started testing Meta Verified, it's own verification subscription, in Australia and New Zealand.

Besides becoming verified on Facebook and Instagram, subscribers can expect premium support, active monitoring for impersonators, exclusive Stories stickers and increased visibility in places like search and comments. The company plans to solve the issue of impersonation by requiring accounts to be confirmed with a government ID.

The subscription will be available later this week for USD $11.99/month (web) or $14.99/month (Android and iOS).
